Oh STFU Starr and go away. She has NOTHING to add. What she heard from Anthony was second hand info and hardly "evidence". For all she knows Anthony could be lying as she doesnt know him from a rabbit in a hole.

Ugh and please stop with these John and Sam scenes

they wrote her off bc she wanted to leave. They didnt have to kill her. That was just an excuse to further decimate the Q family which was pretty excessive by that point

Oh I agree they didn't have to kill the character at all. Should've just had Emily join Doctors Without Borders and dumped Nik. But I'm saying they didn't have any story for Emily outside of being by Nik's side.

I like John and Sam surprisingly. She's tolerable around him

She's an afterthought, as all of his women end up being.

Kimberly McCullough isn't working without contract - Her contract does not expire until April. That's why she vocalized that she was surprised they moved Robin's "death" up until February, because she had thought it would come in April.

I agree and it took me watching her on Days to remember how much she really worked in the role in terms of being one of GH's better ingenues/heroines of the past decade. She has a very sweet disposition and demeanor and I think that brightness and warmth is needed in some capacity on this show. She is sorely needed because everyone on this show is just so damn unlikable for the most part. It would help a ton if there was at least one good girl character that was actually you know good and warm/kind hearted. I think for the most part she was just an incredibly sweet person who just worked as being kind, innocent, patient and honest - while that may appear saccharine you need to have some kind of variety at some point on this show because it's so dark and drab. I think killing off Emily was just sad because she was more or less a very good person who didn't deserve to die the way she did. She was a survivor of so many things from rape, breast cancer, addiction and more. I don't specifically care too much about Nem (although the last time TC showed up for work was when he was opposite her, IMO) as I always loved her with Zander and CB's incarnation of the character's devotion to her was just staggering for me as a viewer to the point where I couldn't see her with anyone else. But the character of Emily was too important to just kill off without thought.

I've heard the same argument made about Georgie (who I actually preferred to Emily, because she was a good girl that wasn't saccharine) - another person who was killed off because that self-hating tool JFP didn't think their was 'valuable' (read: hot enough) to keep around. Both characters surely did leave a void because, as you've said, most of the people on this show are unlikable.

While that works for some, sitting through an hour of pathetic idiots, shrill banshees, and hateful assholes simply isn't entertaining for me.

This article and KA's quote were brought to Kassie's attention

http://i43.tinypic.com/2cgy78n.jpg

She said the following

"Thanks Ms. Linda... I'm in one of those moods today too. The Soaps in-Depth article was brought to my attention and of course I'm left to clear things up… NO one asked me about a General Hospital contract. I have never been approached by General Hospital for a long-term contract. I have so many wonderful fans that are fighting for me to get a contract on that show and I know that they feel I have let them down by saying that I didn't want one ... Well that is just not true. I wish Soaps in Depth had asked me personally instead of asking Kristen to speak for me. I hope this clears things up for you!"

The spin wars are in effect again. Soon we will hear that Kassie "wanted a salary like Robin Strasser's" and was a huge out of control diva.

KDP for all of the flack she is getting for being a One Lifer gave me a brief sense of this when she was on for a day or so with her scenes concerning Starr and opposite Micheal. You really got a sense that there was a real mother there who cared about her child and what she would be going threw. I can't really remember a time when I felt a GH actor responding sympathetically to a situation with real love and undying care for another person. It's sad but quite true on this show. These characters feel a lot of the time like they have no souls. Even with a death hanging over their head it feels like a lot of it is lip serviced and obligatory going threw the motions. It's not real. The characters are in their own space and can't really connect with each other. It's that narcissism that completely takes any sense of heart out of the show for me.

Even Courtney as oblivious as she was most of the time seemed like a good enough person who would care enough about how other people felt and responded to them more often then not from what I recall. I know people didn't like her but I also think she was another heroine-like character who at times cared about other people and was effected by other peoples problems or plights.

I also heard Kassie controls the weather and wrote the screenplay to Glitter.

Was Robin on at all after she was trying to figure out where she was and that nurse talked to Robin's "host"? Does anyone know, is this like what they did with David on AMC and Tea on OLTL, a big publicity stunt? Or is Kim still leaving the show?
