EDT. Okay, it looks like I've found the video.

Jesse McCartney was on this season of the masked singer. He was in the finale tonight and was finally revealed. I had forgotten what a great voice he has.

Chris McKenna (ex-Joey, OLTL, ex-Y&R, etc.) is in a new movie called The Will, which, judging by some screencaps going around, seems to have a director who read a lot of "Chris McKenna is Daddy" posts before filming started. If you're into that (and if you are then you're in good company) you will have a treat.

Matt Bomer (ex-Ben, GL) talks about how being gay affected his career (and being cast as Superman) in a THR Pride Month celebrity coming-out oral history piece that includes interviews with Neil Patrick Harris, Rupert Everett, Wanda Sykes, Richard Chamberlain, and others:

    • And the rating 'wars' continue...hehe.
    • Well, it was fun while it lasted for Rebecca Herbst. Le sigh.
    • I am wholeheartedly enjoying this show. I just haven't been able to post as much as I used to. But yes, this episode needs to be submitted for the EMMYs and there needs to be wins. I better NOT see Y&R, DAYS, or B&B winning in categories over BTG. I feel like the only show that is giving BTG an ounce of competition this season is GH.
    • I never thought the day would come, but too much MM for me.
    • I think it may be that the character was brought in for a specific purpose and then became popular with viewers, and the show didn't know how to respond.  The choice to pivot away from Simon/India may show that you are right and they didn't care for her...although pairing them up may be another sign they didn't care for her. I don't connect well with this period but it does make me happy seeing some of these characters before the great purge and some of the surprises - I'd forgotten the wonderful Maureen O'Sullivan popped up to be bumped off. So typical of soaps by this point, but it doesn't grate as much as later on when Y&R would bring on any random cast member from Small Wonder. I'm also amazed at this time at just how much money the show must have had. The costumes for the Founder's celebration in summer 1984, or whatever it was, looked gorgeous.
    • Which officially started to feel that way today with them hearing each other out as they confronted each other at the same time.    Same. He was even catching himself when he was about to go overboard or do those tics that people don't seem to like. He failed a bit at the end, but he carried. It makes me think about a month back when it was discussed that the actor was better in other things he's been in. And I questioned then if that meant that he was playing Martin more intentionally. I questioned that briefly again today because he was giving.
    • I really like the actress who plays Margo. Don't know  her name. I'm so hesitant to google anyone because I don't want to know the length they were on the show. I've watched two episodes and I have to say that the show does not feel as dated as other shows. I tried to watch Ryan's Hope a few weeks back and some of the acting was a bit rough. EON is a lot more natural which amuses me considering it's a mystery/thriller show.
    • She’s INCREDIBLE. I’m so glad you enjoyed this my friend.
    • I loved SOAP OPERA NOW because they  did detailed analysis of the ratings. https://www.instagram.com/p/DJS504ep-ff/ 14th Annual SOD Awards 1998 GH Edit with a Y&R shout-out to Bill Bell who is then seen in the audience. Sarah Joy Brown, Carly, Best Younger Lead Actress (shout out to NLG who wasn't there, had a baby) The GH Show (off) segment VM & Ingo present John Ingle, Edward Quartermaine Best Male Scene Stealer; , Best Newcomer Laura Wright as Cassie on Guiding Light GL Show (off) segment. Hottest Female Sharon Case & she gave a shout-out to Bill Bell who the camera found in the  audience
