Members Chris B
Actually, having Tina involved in the prison break would've been genius. And considering Victor *is* alive, I wouldn't have been too upset with Todd. That could've been fun! I take back my knee jerk reaction.
Members ~bl~
My reaction is based on availability. If they did this and then Andrea and John weren't in the story, I would have been livid. I can understand why they dropped that idea, as I would have hated the story arc ending with Tina in Statesville and Cord back in London alone if at the last minute they couldn't come back to NYC to tape. Members SFK
Todd framing Tina would have been awesome if Tina was on contract/strongly recurring. Tina and David really toyed with him before Tina finally confessed to him that he was Victor's real heir, so money has always been a real point of contention for them. Of course this would be Todd characteristically taking it too far.
Members Mr. Vixen
He said that immediately when he came on, he wanted Robert, Holly and Anna. That gives me some hope. He watched back when it was Laura/Scotty? Let's hope he remembers that it was Laura/Scotty/BOBBIE.
Members KMan101
Someone should tweet Ron to remind him about Bobbie.
Members DRW50
I was so wary of Tina returning again...talk about dodging a bullet. Most likely, Tina never would have been mentioned again, and Viki would have had zero reaction, or agreed that Tina had killed Victor. I can also see Cord believing Tina had done it and dumping her. And it sounds like this was mostly dropped because of his view on Todd, nothing to do with what would work for Tina's character. Everything is about shock value and jokes - that's great if you are writing some type of fun spoof for a soap, but characters like Dorian and Tina are more than just laugh riots - it sounds like even to the end, everything about Dorian was going to be a guffaw, and be all about Tuc Watkins the comedy genius. Members yr9190
Wow, that whole thing about having Dorian becoming president sounds soooo JER/MAB. I can't wait to see the DC gang joke about this on their next podcast. I hope the mob is featured less on GH. The way RC talked about it, He made it seem like he still intended to do mob stories. Members DRW50
I would love to hear more of his view on Dorian. Did he just see her as a joke? Did he mostly see her in what would work for David, since everything about her character had to be 100% David?
Members SFK
I wonder if Ron knows about the new HBO series Veep where Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays the first female vice president.
Members tina m
Thanks for posting this! With all of the football I watched today, I will probably listen to this in full tomorrow - I'll have more energy, haha. I really want to hear what RC has to say, it sounds pretty good thus far. If there's one person I want writing the last soap opera I feel, I hate to say it, but invested in - it's Ron. I'm crossing my fingers he boots all of those unnecessary characters and storylines (Memphis Maggie, Weird Woman in White, the elusive stripper killer, and FauxKate included), help bring GH back to its roots and sprinkle in some OLTL love. If he's able to do that, I'm happy.

Members Y&RWorldTurner
This has to be one of the most un-objective and kiss-ass interviews I've ever listen to. What a waste.
Members DRW50
Even more than the MAB fawnfest of 2009?
Members Vee
I think the Tina story would've worked well so long as we continued to see her in prison, and they resolved it, like a classic Tina caper - she's wrongly accused, she's behind bars, now here is the truth and she's free and happy with Cord. But since they apparently did not have Andrea and John locked down to the end, they didn't do it, and that was smart. The alternate storyline they went on with appropriate, and fun.
