January 10, 201214 yr Member It definitely offended me. But the idiot writers seem to think the only purpose for returning characters is to pimp current storylines and since Max would probably want Blair back, there's not really any room for him. They're trying to give TnB their due and Tomas is still floating around out there, too. I try to imagine Max wanting Blair back at Asa's funeral as a desperate attempt for something familiar since Gabrielle and Luna are both gone. Those two wound up being very bad for each other and should never be together romantically again. In my alternate reality, he'd come back and find out Gabrielle and Al are alive. Shocking coming from me, isn't it? Edited January 10, 201214 yr by MissLlanviewPA
January 10, 201214 yr Member LOL yes, quite shocking I don't know Max and Gabrielle well enough to know who the writers pimp as their "true loves." But they sure were pushing Bo and Gabby pretty hard yesterday haha. Alright, I need Tea the rest of the week AND Behind the scenes footage of Kassie filming her bumper and rolling straight off that piano. LMAO. I'll co-sign this.
January 10, 201214 yr Member I wish someone would tell Fiona to crop her hair again. Her hair is too long for a woman her age. I think the bob she was was wearing at the end of her last run made her look so sophisticated (especially the high, Jacqueline Kennedy inspired, swept back bangs). I also did not get all her floating and dancing around. Was Gabrielle a dancer? It was a little too much. Jessica Tuck and Susan Batten look phenomenal, as if time stood still for them both (with the exception of the heavy eye bags that no one can hide with that much white light reflecting on your face). I know there are not many Luna fans out there, but I loved Susan when she played the subtleties of the Luna role. Jessica and Erika are just magic together. Their chemistry is so palatable. After all these years, and so many memorable roles of Jessica outside of daytime, I still see her as Megan.

I actually thought it was nice to see Fiona with longer hair again, although I did LOVE her shorter haircut (when it grew out a bit--not the spiky one) from near the end of her last run, too. Fiona and Gabrielle were ballet dancers at one point--Gabrielle once had a dream where she danced! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ldz2dNxNe4w Yesterday was a bit of a tough day to be a Gabrielle fan (or maybe more accurately a MAX/Gabrielle fan), but I've been waiting to see her again for eight years. I'll be a fan of hers forever . Susan, though...she could have just lost weight, but for some reason she looked to me like she had work done. Maybe her chin? Not sure. January 10, 201214 yr Member I mostly associate Fiona's shorter hair with Gabrielle going around downtrodden all the time, so I am happy with the longer hair. I think that short hair also ages her a little more than longer hair.
January 10, 201214 yr Member I thought Fiona looked pretty with the longer hair. I don't know if it's just me but I don't find Jessica Tuck to be in any way pretty. *shrugs*

January 10, 201214 yr Member It's funny that ABC's redheaded stepchild of a soap will go down as the last true soap opera on the air (Y&R, Days, B&B and GH don't feel like soap operas to me anymore).
January 10, 201214 yr Member Sadly there is no accounting for taste, LOL... http://instinctmagazine.com/blogs/blog/which-daytime-star-was-named-soap-s-best-hunk-of-2011?directory=100011

January 10, 201214 yr Member Isn't that the same issue that everyone's been talking about? I'm pretty sure it is, but I'm not sure why they waitied until today to issue a press release about it.
January 10, 201214 yr Member I'm pretty sure it is, but I'm not sure why they waitied until today to issue a press release about it. Oh ok. By the way, who's gonna start the new thread?!
January 10, 201214 yr Member This is the hair length/era I felt Fiona looked the best/most sophisticated: She looks phenomenal here, especially like the one on the right.
