LOVED the flashback. Just wish Will would actually call his mother out the way Sami did Marlena, instead of the screaming around it.

Yea, I don't get that. At first I figured he wanted to get her to admit to it on her own, then he wanted to make her sweat. Now I just don't get why he's dancing around it. Not telling Rafe, I get it. Not telling Sami...odd.

Today was at least not boring. I love the Kate/Sami dynamic, but Madison is just making me roll my eyes more and more. Her and Brady are annoying.

Awesome flashbacks!! I hope we get to see more from that storyline because it was one of my favorites and one of Reilly's best storylines.

He just said today he didn't want to hurt his brother and sisters by breaking up their family and because Rafe is the only good thing in their family, which is kinda true. I understand why he's keeping the secret, at least for now.

Yuck to Bradison. They are just awful

Kate as always is terrific

But the story with will is the one and only thing keeping me at all interested.in DOOL

The mayor storyline had turned into an entire disappointment. Do the DOOL writers not get politics is dirty. JS seem as bored with it as I am.

They wonder why ratings are tanking. The mayor storyline should just end and Brady is such a DULL character! But loved Will and Marlena and Kate and Sami.

I actually like Martsolf but he needs to be paired with someone more demure and less pushy(I liked his stuff with Chloe) - he and Sarah do not work at all, and they need to figure out something new. He just does not work as someone running a corporation. Phillip fit that Kiriakis role better. I think he;d work better if Brady were a more blue collar type if that makes sense.

That is true, I think he needs to open a agency or nightclub and focus on something different. I liked him as a bad boy.

No, I get that. But Will keeping it secret from Rafe and Will not telling Sami are two different things. I don't see how that would hurt the kids at all, really. Why he's taken so long to confront Sami directly, even when they're alone is just...weird to me. They've had more than enough opportunities, yet he dances around it...maybe hoping Sami will come clean on her own?

The main goal of the story seems to be to stall as much as possible. Will stalls confronting Sami. Marlena stalls confronting her and tells Will to do the same. There's no storyline, just a few plot points. And if Will spends all his time crying and yelling and pouting, who will care when he actually does confront her? He's already had the same two or three reactions day after day.

True say. And although I was glad something was happening today, it just seems like the show's actively avoiding all conflict between the characters, choosing instead to have them stew about it or talk about how nice it is to relax at the spa. You're right that no one will care when he actually confronts her, not because he's held back for so long, but because he hasn't DONE anything in the meantime.

I'd ask what everyone thought they were setting up between Kate, Sami and Madison...but considering Madison's been shreiking at Sami for everything from incorrect typefaces on reports to hangnails lately, I'm sure I can guess on my own.

Of course you have to stall - it's soap writing tactic. You have to build up to him telling Sami and then Rafe finding out. I don't remember the 1993 storyline but I think Sami didn't tell Marlena right away either.

The problem is the stalling kills the momentum of the story. You can drag a story out without being so plodding about it. He's spent a million scenes raging at Sami - that undercuts the impact of any eventual confrontation, and makes her look like a moron for not figuring out what's going on. He's spent a million scenes crying and pouting with little motivation, even less motivation if someone doesn't read spoilers. The story is just flat for me, mostly because I don't get Will and also because I don't think the fallout (Sami being called a whore or whatever and losing Rafe) is worth the stall.

Well I disagree. I'm a fan of stalling and prolonging the story. And if we can get some scenes like when Sami confronted Marlena, Will confronting Sami should be good too.
