This is potentially GH's last year, it seems a little disrespectful to infiltrate the show with a bunch of OLTL people, but if I like who they bring on I'm still going to check it out.

I don't believe it's happening yet. Who is this person tweeting? No one seems to know and it's believed? Anyway, if it does happen, I agree it won't hurt anything. The damage has been done.

I never get the logic of an influx of actors from another soap coming on to help ratings. Has it ever. Actor fanbases are not that big. I get casting someone with a name for a new role already defined or maybe as a recast, but creating roles to just add pet actors from a soap to another show. How has that worked out at Y&R and did all those ex passions people help Days?

And if GH is ending why do this to their fans

The only way they'd interest me is if they brought over like five key OLTL vets playing the same characters. I'm not interested in them playing new characters, especially not on a tanking soap and DEFINITELY not people like Bree Williamson

She's limited and generic IMO. Her Tess was decent, so if they give her a batshit character she may do well. With a generic heroine I don't see her succeeding. It doesn't matter anyway since this show is over.

The worst of it is that with FV and RC there she will probably just get the same trash they gave her in OLTL's last few years. I hope GH viewers are ready for more comic relief sexual abuse.

We've had mental and physical abuse for years, at least sexual will change the flavour a bit.

I wouldn't be surprised if they recast Sonny with Michael Easton and Jason with JP Lavoisier, but I wouldn't watch GH again if they recast Helena Cassadine with Erika Slezak or Robin Strasser.

UNLESS

A character on GH happened to be watching the "lost" real ending of OLTL one day... and the "lost" real ending of AMC another day. I don't expect GH will survive much longer, but I think Frank and Ron could quickly address how things wrapped up in Pine Valley and Llanview without alienating the two or three people who still watch GH.

ITA with this. While I loved AMC and OLTL, I don't want to see those actors or characters on GH. Bring back the iconic characters that made GH #1 and send it out in style.
