Of course. Luke killed Lucky's son and Laura didn't show up for the funeral or to comfort her son, so ABC will do whatever they please without whomever they please. They either don't give a f*ck or the budget is too fried to bring back Robin's parents. I'm guessing both.

Oh my God...If I had ever walked into a classroom and saw FELICIA FRICKEN JONES was my teacher? I'd be dead.

To be fair, Genie was under contract at another soap, no? I can't remember the timing.

They also didn't have Bobbie back, and we all know damn well Jackie Zeman was available.

IA with others that GH will do whatever it pleases - dam# the fans. They haven't cared about the fans in a long, long time. If anything, they'll kill off Robin and not have her parents onscreen, just to spite the fans. It almost seems like this has been the agenda for the last decade. It reminds me of when TPTB made Ethan a Spencer instead of a Scorpio. TPTB could care less what history dictates or what the fans want - they'll do whatever they dam# well please.

I agree with everyone who says that if Robin does die then Robert, Anna, Sean, Tiffany, Frisco and Felicia (B&B could spare Jack Wagner for one day) need to come back. I would even like to see Noah Drake come back to try and help Patrick through this. Robin's death could lead for a decent storyline for Patrick. What if he throws himself into his work and starts to neglect his and Robin's daughter by leaving her with nannies, thus leading to a custody battle between Robert/Anna vs. Patrick for custody of the little girl. Add the emotions that Frisco, Felicia, Sean and Tiffany feel into this and leave it up in the air as to who they would support in the custody battle...you might bring back a sense of the drama we felt back in the 80's and 90's on the show.

I suspect we would have had a few withdrawals next year if Israel had won. I don't think many people would relish going to Jerusalem as things stand now. Not to mention it would have been a prime target for terrorist attacks.
    • And they've given us plenty. Sets, outdoor scenes, music licensing, etc. And that was the point of me using DAYS... so. It's obvious the casino set is not intended for long-term use, hence why it's likely it wasn't as evolved as the other community sets, etc.

    • I just had thought of how to save the Perkins family. (Inspired by Rituals) -- What if Marisa Perkins was Augusta Lockridge's sister? Fictionally, they could've both been local girls, one married rich and one married poor. Originally, I was going to suggest that Marisa be Sophia's sister, but then I realized Joe and Kelly would've been first cousins.  Of course, it would've truly inspired Sophia was if Rosa Andrade sister, with Rosa and Santana moving in to help CC raise the kids once Sophia disappeared.  While this could've avoided both gross CC and Santana affairs, the times were not right for a story about intersectional inequity.
    • https://www.instagram.com/p/DJxW5DLJLId/ Another World is my forever favorite soap opera. But it's finale is almost universally hated by its fans. What this is, is an edit where I've deleted everything I didn't like!!!
    • The Perkins family had potential to be a nice alternative to the more dysfunctional Capwells and wackier Lockridges... but I think a few factors did in the family. 1) Recasting of Joe Perkins 2) Bad casting of the Perkins Patriarch, and the one note writing for that character. 3) Lack of antagonistic interaction between the Capwells/Lockridges and Perkins.  (There was no awkwardness between Jade/Ted.. or CC disapproving of his son being friends with that Perkins girl, etc). 4) Wasting of Jade thus wasting the potential of the actress (which was realized on Days of Our Lives).  She had more potential than Laken oddly enough. The only member of the Perkins family that had appeal and a somewhat thought out story arc was Amy.
    • @GymnastGuyThanks for posting the three new Capitol 1985 episodes today. The two labeled March 12, and 13 are misidentified. The March 12 labeled one actually aired November 12 1985 which I figured out because Kenny Rogers' movie Wild Horses aired November 12th and it was announced over the "March 12" Cap credits. In addition, Craig Carlson is listed in the April credits but not the March. Craig left Capitol sometime after July 1985 before he rejoined OLTL in the credits by October 15, 1985; he was replaced on Cap by Radcliffe and Hamner. In these posted episodes Radcliffe/Hamner names appear in the March 85 episodes but not in the April.
