Are you sure that came from it? I notice Tea is in there and I dont think she came on the show until after the high school musical story. I know that story hapened after I dropped the show, I think during Higley's run and Tea didnt become a regular and added to the opening till 2009

I think you're confusing Prom Night the Musical with Starr X'd Lovers, which happened in 2010.

I actually enjoyed the Starr Xed thing more than anything else on OLTL at that time. The show was rotgut - singing and dancing at least covered it up for a few days.

If thats the case then Star X'd lovers was better. At least that was limited whereas the Prom night Musical lasted an ENTIRE damn week.

It wasn't great soap but IA with you. It was kind of light and fun well as fun as anything on OLTL can be. I think it was FV trying to likely again capitalize on something hip and popular on PT which at the time was Glee.

I think that might actually predate Glee, no? I remember thinking this was a rip off of High School Musical.

It came out after Glee but I thought it was clearly a rip off of High School Musical. It was a sequel to the Prom Night stuff from 2007 which was most definetly a HMS rip.

The baby Michael story on GH was a living hell. 1999 GH was one of the most boring years of anything, anywhere. Not only was this a repetitive, dull storyline which consisted of the same two or three scenes over two years time, but it was a useful tool for Guza to permanently destroy his pet hates like the Quartermaine family.

Prom Night was definitely a rip-off of HSM, complete with original songs. Starr X'ed was a rip-off of Glee, complete with covers of popular songs. I'm just surprised they haven't ripped off Twilight yet.

I completely forgot there were two of these.

what was that about?

When Nick became all MANLY and forbade Brooke to show herself nekkid or work at FC with Wiidge, Massimo used the chance to place wonderful billboards (we got a location shoot for that crap which culmaited in Nick&sBrookess 5 minute wedding/marriage) claiming "Brooke's bedroom or nothing at all". She was nekkid! But yu couldn't see anything apart from her apparently not wearing a bra. What a scandal! NOT

AMC:

The Satin Freakin' Slayer!

I was so happy that my show NEVER had to resort to a lame, clichéd serial killer plot... but along came this piece of crap!

I guess if AMC did it realistically (as much as a daytime soap could) it may have been riveting. Unfortunately, this thing was even too cheesy/trans fat-laden for that blob Paula Deen. ugh
