It just always makes me laugh because she used this to belittle fans for not being accepting enough of Billy Warlock. Yet she had nothing to say, that I can remember, about Guza trashing BW's AJ year after year after year after year.

On GL she was often very loud. Dinah is probably close to what Greenlee could be.

I didn't think that scene was bad at all. She reminded me a lot of what Anne Hathaway and Calista Flockhart do with their techniques when they act. The mannerisms, the responses, facial expressions, the speech, etc.

Word. LW's Carly is just. There aren't even words. She is the most unlikable being I have ever watched.

The problem is that all LW does is play Carly's bad habits to the point where all of her good qualities are completely drowned out. I definitely agree with the sentiment that Carly probably could have just left town after TB left until they found a direction for her to go in. Maybe have her go insane after losing Michael and then have her written off the show. But that would have left a rather big hole in the show I imagine. Carly is a very important character to GH's current incarnation. I don't think Carly herself is the problem though as much as it's the fact that the mob is destroying the show and Carly is an extension of that.

Well, at least Daphne Zuniga's closer to what should be Kendall's age.

I've said this before: it's always annoyed me how Kendall and Josh were and are written as younger than they should be. If AMC had paid actual attention, or if they had not always bothered to placate a certain actress' ego (sorry, Susan, but you know I'm right here), they would have known that Kendall belongs in the same age bracket, roughly, as Tad and Charlie, and possibly Greg, Liza and Alfred; and that Josh belonged in the same age-group as Angie, Jesse and maybe Jenny.

IOW, try and picture someone as old as Lisa Brown (ex-Nola, GUIDING LIGHT; ex-Iva, AS THE WORLD TURNS) playing Erica Kane's firstborn; and someone as old as Christian LeBlanc (ex-Kirk, ATWT; Michael, Y&R) playing her "aborted" son.

I suspect we would have had a few withdrawals next year if Israel had won. I don't think many people would relish going to Jerusalem as things stand now. Not to mention it would have been a prime target for terrorist attacks.
    • And they've given us plenty. Sets, outdoor scenes, music licensing, etc. And that was the point of me using DAYS... so. It's obvious the casino set is not intended for long-term use, hence why it's likely it wasn't as evolved as the other community sets, etc.

    • I just had thought of how to save the Perkins family. (Inspired by Rituals) -- What if Marisa Perkins was Augusta Lockridge's sister? Fictionally, they could've both been local girls, one married rich and one married poor. Originally, I was going to suggest that Marisa be Sophia's sister, but then I realized Joe and Kelly would've been first cousins.  Of course, it would've truly inspired Sophia was if Rosa Andrade sister, with Rosa and Santana moving in to help CC raise the kids once Sophia disappeared.  While this could've avoided both gross CC and Santana affairs, the times were not right for a story about intersectional inequity.
    • https://www.instagram.com/p/DJxW5DLJLId/ Another World is my forever favorite soap opera. But it's finale is almost universally hated by its fans. What this is, is an edit where I've deleted everything I didn't like!!!
    • The Perkins family had potential to be a nice alternative to the more dysfunctional Capwells and wackier Lockridges... but I think a few factors did in the family. 1) Recasting of Joe Perkins 2) Bad casting of the Perkins Patriarch, and the one note writing for that character. 3) Lack of antagonistic interaction between the Capwells/Lockridges and Perkins.  (There was no awkwardness between Jade/Ted.. or CC disapproving of his son being friends with that Perkins girl, etc). 4) Wasting of Jade thus wasting the potential of the actress (which was realized on Days of Our Lives).  She had more potential than Laken oddly enough. The only member of the Perkins family that had appeal and a somewhat thought out story arc was Amy.
    • @GymnastGuyThanks for posting the three new Capitol 1985 episodes today. The two labeled March 12, and 13 are misidentified. The March 12 labeled one actually aired November 12 1985 which I figured out because Kenny Rogers' movie Wild Horses aired November 12th and it was announced over the "March 12" Cap credits. In addition, Craig Carlson is listed in the April credits but not the March. Craig left Capitol sometime after July 1985 before he rejoined OLTL in the credits by October 15, 1985; he was replaced on Cap by Radcliffe and Hamner. In these posted episodes Radcliffe/Hamner names appear in the March 85 episodes but not in the April.
