ABC is kicking All My Children to the curb but the network's hit talk show The View will help send it there in style with a special full-hour homage airing September 23, the same day the soap ends its 41-year-run. Emmy winner Susan Lucci (Erica) will co-host the show, along with View regulars Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd.

Special guests include AMC's legendary creator Agnes Nixon and fan faves Cameron Mathison (Ryan); Rebecca Budig (Greenlee) and Vincent Irizarry (David). There will also be several surprise drop-ins by other AMC cast members, past and present.

Expect lots of exclusives, including never-before-seen footage of AMC's final day of production (sob!), interviews with many of the AMC alumni who made return appearances during the soap's final weeks, and a sneak peek at the finale.

The entire View audience will be filled with devoted fans of AMC. Want tickets? Mail your request to: Tickets — The View Salutes AMC, 320 West 66 Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10023.

Damn. I'm going to have to watch it just to see this part.

If RB is so disappointed and done with the show (not that I blame her for feeling that way) why is she taking up time on this?

Frons of course wink.png She's BFF's with him wink.png

I know but I doubt he held a gun to her head.

It's going to annoy me watching her pretend she cares.

If one of them asks her what she thinks of Greenlee's ending is she going to be honest and say she hates it?

She'll probably give a fake smile and say she loved it LOL

I can't wait for this, glad Babs won't be there, she's insufferable

Rebecca's done nothing but speak out on how she wished Ryan and Greenlee ended with Gillian and Leo, respectively. She seems very disappointed the show ended with Ryan and Greenlee.

I can't feel sorry for her when she's the one who keeps coming back. We as viewers even realize as long as their is breath in Frons' body there'll be Rylee LOL

WTF, the woman has been on the show off and on for the last 12 years. We're going to pretend like she has no business whatsoever appearing on this?

I said that ABC should run a weeklong tribute to AMC while the View was on Hiatus but this is at least something. I just hope its better than their tribute. That was awful as the women kept getting their facts wrong, Whoopi was uninterested with being there and it wasnt well done

Amazing! I can't wait! I'm especially looking forward to the behind the scenes footage. Love that Susan Lucci's going to be a host!

This sounds nice but is Rebecca Budig necessary? Barbara the phony not being there is a huge plus.

Frons had better not be there!

LOL I highly doubt he will be there. Especially since the audience will be filled with AMC fans.
