I liked Tad and Cara too, but I think she's more jealous that Tad's focus has shifted than broken-hearted.

I can see JR's reaction. He's happy with Dixie, she dies. Then she "comes back" in the form of Di, he gets emotionally involved and it turns out she's fake. Dixie comes back from the dead, JR gets emotionally involved, she dies again. Nothing good in JR's mind has happened recently with Dixie coming back so I can see why he would have reservations getting involved again. That being said, JR should trust Dixie because she is the only person who truly cares about him right now.

I thought Kendall's reaction to Zach being back was perfect and Alicia gave a wonderful performance. She just tugged at my heart strings today. That last scene was just beautiful!

But seriously, let's just assume, for the moment, that Tad has grown very fond of Cara because she represents for him an opportunity to recapture his lost youth. Plus, Tad's no fool; he knows he and Dixie have tried and failed...and tried and failed again...and again...and again. How can they be certain that this time, if and when they reconcile, they will stay reconciled? It's like w/ GUIDING LIGHT's Josh and Reva: so-and-so might be your soulmate, but that doesn't necessarily mean you belong together.
