I seriously think in this case a recast might be good for the character as it almost gives them the perfect excuse to reboot the character a tad. He's just become too much like the laterdays AJ Quartermaine for me who became a total loser. It's not fun to watch to a great extent.

On the one hand, I can understand why Tad and JR's reactions to Dixie's return/resurrection seem so underwhelming. However, if they had reacted as they had the last time she came back from the dead, it would've come across as repetitive and ignorant of history (which is why I, for one, believed this - the "Second Second Coming of Dixie," if you will - was a bad idea all along).

That's why they're gonna have to reveal it was David who poisoned that peanut butter jar in the supermarket, even if the intended target (Babe, his own daughter) makes him look even more irredeemable. Otherwise, it makes no sense.

Unless David had the hots for Kendall and believed this would be the perfect way to make her love him....
