The thing is Wolf is a Guza protege and Frons is still guiding the pen I don't expect a glaring change there are still some issues I have with dialog I mean the pimp hand is still there Carly wanted to have a baby for Jason now this. I applaud him getting Jason off her lap after a decade its very Guza style the way he's doing it that's all I'm saying

And spoilers its basically much of the same thing "for me" Jason will continue to get coddled in writing.

Just watching now...WOW, I got chills during the Liz/Lucky scenes. Brought a tear to the eye of this LL2 lover.

It's asinine to praise or criticize a week's worth of episodes. I, for the life of me, can't figure out why people want to do either so damn quick -- right off the bat!

Are we REALLY supposed to care about this "event" storyline. I hate stories ike this, there is no suspense or edge of the seat viewing with Carly and Jason front and center. Like they would ever kill one of them. Waste of time......

Myself? I'm looking forward to it to see the possible emotional exploration of the characters. That's the whole point of soap opera. I think the last time they did an event that actually did emotional exploration was the hostage crisis. I remember viewers feeling as if they'd taken a journey by the end of the four weeks. As for the "are we REALLY supposed to care... grumble, grunt, huff, snort!" aspect... You won't know that until you start watching the story.

I feel like KeMo is finally going to use her acting chops that have long since been dormant. It's like once Kelly got signed to GH she threw away all her commitment and picked up bad acting habits from the terrible two-some. To her credit there there are sparks here and there (When Nancy challenges her, but there was also something semi-inspired with her rivalry with Elizabeth too) but they are just that. Sparks. She is nowhere near as strong nor as visceral as she was during her the years where she created and cultivated the character of Livvie who rocked PC to it's very foundation at times and was by far the most interesting character on the canvas. But that's for another post.

Back to KeMo's watered down thespian chops and Sam. From what I saw from the promo they've been hocking out since yesterday afternoon I saw a bit of PC acting quality there I haven't seen in her for like a decade. So that's one thing. I am more or less looking forward to KeMo's return to acting if nothing else as she has been coasting for the better part of three or so years. I can't blame her Burton her long time acting partner checked out a long time ago, but I digress. This will likely be her big moment to shine. She may finally justify that Best Actress nomination she got a few years back with this event storyline.

I've always said that it was disappointing to see Monaco go from Livvie to Sam... Sam has given her nothing to really sink her teeth into acting wise. It was like watching Tamara Braun go from Carly to Reese on AMC.

OMG were 2 promos for The Chew necessary?

I would not say the show is 100% better but there has been some noticeable changes. The show is more balanced and Carly, Sonny, and Jason aren't hogging up so much airtime so far. Monica is being used. A lot of history is being mentioned. I agree that the real test will be this big storyline coming up starting Friday. Im hoping its good.

No follow-up on whose stalking Carly?

If I'm not mistaken...Didn't Garin do this before, during the writers strike, wasn't that around the time Jason had those "seizures" or whatever they were, where he looked constipated for like 5 minutes and then would fall.

And what happened during that story, sure they brought characters together, but simply to prop Jason up more as some saint. I may be making a rash decision, seeing as it hasn't played out yet, but I fully do expect to see characters come together..but simply because they will spend their time talking about how the world revolves around Jason.

And I have no hope for KeMo anymore, the only time she fully utilized herself was during her baby's death, and when she was going around town being a stalker bitch.

Loving Skye. Was watching for about 20 minutes when I realizded I didnt care about anything else on the show and FF to her parts. She and Tracy have always made great enemies and glad they get to work together again. Love the AMC reference but it made me sad that she's not over there

So now Sonny is referring to his wife as that bitch Brenda? Oh gawd I cant stand him

Tracy Q and Anthony Z are BRILLIANT together! GOLD. I *LOVE* these two! And I think Garin is a fan of my Zaccharas ;-)

Great having Skye back. Her vs. Tracy is always great. Loved the little Chandler family mention we got from Tracy today.

I really think Dante & Lulu's recent storyline did wonders for them as a couple and I'm just loving them so much lately. They were adorable in Mondays show. LOL @ their refrigerator being disgusting because they were gone from home so long ;-P

Liz & Matt were kinda cute
