Its so stupid. Considering

they are getting rid of TSJ anyway

they should have just brought on RH to play Todd without this silly doppleganger/imposter nonsense

Exactly....there didn't even have to be any mention of it..I'm still trying to understand Tomas' angle, as they're making it seem he's known all along TSJ isn't Todd but is letting his sister and everyone still think it because of some random secret he has?...I honestly am expecting an awful payoff to this all...

OK I have NEVER been to a birthday party EVER where EVERYONE leaves the room (particularly leaving their little boy with a STRANGER they can't even identify) just to help get the cake. WTF?

I feel the porno storyline doesn't even deserve any comment, but, once again, I know there's some creepy amateur porn out there, but would anyone really wanna see a porn with two barely experienced people, who look absolutely MISERABLE (are they gonna slip Nate a viagra?) Rick is meant to be a big shot porno producer, and not one who makes sleazy amateur stuff, but instead cheesy Don't Hold the Pepperoni type porn, wtf does he see in these kids?

I need to see Alcazar take off his belt or get one of his old paintbrushes & knock the mess out of Baz's disrespectful ass a few times! He is SUCH a stank, angry queen who has no respect whatsoever. UGH!

Not having been into an OLTL thread in about a week - I'm a bit surprised how negative most of the people here are about the show... I think that OVERALL the show has been good, I was away from vacation and I found myself unable to continue watching the taped episodes.

Sure, the porn crap is beyond stupid - the teens are getting to be a bit much - but I do still like David, I like this storyline with Echo, Viki, Dorian, & David... I like the Todd story so far, I am intrigued about what is going on... now there are CIA files on Todd, Thomas, and the dead guy?

There will always be things that need to be changed but overall the show is interesting, the ratings are strong, and honestly it can only get better... oh and Gigi is dead. =D

I agree! People bash this show and RC like crazy, but I love OLTL and I especially love RC's writing.

One thing I do wish though is that the stories would SPEED UP. Could Todd and Todd just come face to face already?! I saw that on the preview this week so I assumed it wouldn't be long. And I am almost to the point of not caring with this Natalie/John paternity reveal!

^ No you're not the last time this happened, it was something in someone's siggy causing it

This real Todd storyline is going to be ridiculously hard to pull off from both sides. TSJTodd knows too much as Todd for him to be a simple double and honestly I don't think it's fair to viewers for them to wipe away eight years worth of history just because RH is out of a job and needs work. He made his choice to leave and go over to ATWT's now he's being brought back to his original roll and throwing away nearly a decade of story while he's at it?

This is OLTL, they can pull it off. TSJ made his choice to leave as well, it's a two way street, now he suddenly wants to stay cause RH is back? I don't think so LOL, he found that out the hard way.

I never bought TSJ as Todd, he sure wasn't playing Todd, but Walker, cause he and the writer's made the character unrecognizable all around

I honestly don't even care specifically about the performer. I was here for both of them and although I missed the very humble beginnings of Todd I saw enough of RH in the role (I remember the storyline with him on a stranded island quite well and specifically thought his relationship with Starr was quite sweet). I think TSJ has impressed me more then RH has but I see them more or less as being interchangeable at this point. What I am most upset about is the fact that this revision will likely throw away any and all of 'Todd's' development as a character in the last eight years. Because well he isn't Todd supposedly. He has had many meaningful scenes with Marty, Tea, Blair, Evangeline, Starr, Viki, Jessica, Natalie, Mitch Lawrence, etc. and now that will all be washed away because they wanted RH back. It's just a blatant disservice to fans and story. Especially the ones that stuck to OLTL when RH left the role because 'he was done with playing him' in 03'.

-- baz is gayer than marcus bachmann. and cripes, that is really gay.

-- the porn stuff is SO bad i can't stop watching it when it's on the screen. might be the worst thing ever on OLTL, and that's saying something. there's a line a mile long for those wanting to do porn, but this jerk NEEDS nate and deanna? LMAO. it might also be the most vanilla and unsexy porn s/l of all time.

-- roger howarth is way overrated. i have to LOL at those saying TSJ is boring when i watch RH.

-- the girl who plays destiny is one godawful actress, and she's not getting any better. andrew trischetta (jack) is still lousy, but at least he's shown noticeable improvement. destiny? no improvement at all.

It is ironic that RH is dressed up as Spider-Man because there was a "clone saga" in 1990's Spider-Man books that is kind of similar to the "Two Todds" storyline.

I'm often too hard on OLTL's dialogue--they often do humour well at least dialogue wise (although the sexual innuendos can be too much), however... I can nitpick and say that for someone who knows music like Thomas is meant to (he went to Julliard!), the writers should have done some research and realized that Bazz' music is in absolutely no sense of the word "atonal" as Thomas called it--not even remotely.

But what does bug me is when they say things that it'd be better to show. Like when Todd knocked out the Spiderman guy and put on his outfit--ANYONE watching would know why he's doing that, do we really need to have poor RH have to give such awkward exposition lines as (I paraphrase) "Sorry, but I really need this costume to sneak into that party". While not remotely as bad, it reminds me of what I hated most about JER's writing - it's like soap operas for dummies, JER would constantly have those voice over monologues explaining over and over what was beyond obvious.

hile I kinda agree, and really this story makes no sense to me, but to be fair they didn't even know each other for YEARS right? Or if they did, it seemed like Thomas resented him for being the son from another man. And now Thomas seems to want an instant relationship, even quicker than Todd did with Dani. It's all utterly ridiculous.

This isn't meant mean spiritedly, but it does say you love your psychos, and so does Ron! He has a psycho on the canvas at all times, and when one leaves, suddenly a new one comes on, or a character for no real reason (Marty...) becomes one. So maybe that's part of the reason.

I do agree though that the stories are so slow. It's odd cuz it's a fast paced, fast moving, largely plot driven show, yet the reveals, etc, are drawn out too far. I think part of the problem is stories aren't developped--you have the setup, and then you have constantly repeated scenes (even for backburner stories--how long did we have Destiny pulling the pregnancy test out of her bag, staring at it as if she might take the test, and then putting it away?) and then the reveal. And I admit, for the most part when he does do the story climaxes, it usually makes for a week or two of very exciting soap opera. It's the inbetween stuff that would, if better developed, make the show feel less drawn out.

I'm mostly interested in how this Two Todds story will end. I get that there will be a hostage crisis, but otherwise, OLTL stories in recent years just seem to stop, with no resolution.

Apples and oranges. It's a generational thing. Baz = cute, his music = horrible.
