It's interesting how the only person smiling in the painting is Erica. (I'm not counting Stuart because that's more about setting him apart from Adam.) Everybody else has a sad-to-angry look on their face.

I'm pretty positive the green dress blonde is MW Liza. With Marion under Stuart.

I found this early this morning thanks to Live w/R&K during host chat Regis held a small copy of it up and I almost passed out! But they didn't really discuss it. LOL ...I FLEW to the computer as fast as my little fingers could carry me to find out what the hell it was & where I could get it..... as I was instantly MADLY in LOVE! I posted about it over at SOC and instantly made it my avi!! I was going to post about it here too but was too busy fawning over it and alerting several people to what I want for Christmas........... and not the little one wink.png!!

Thanks for getting the details Errol....I was going to post it in the AMC tribute thread but was hoping a soap site would pick it up and bring more attention to it...so thanks!

ETA: OHH & I wub.pngwub.pngwub.png That it's not tainted and tarnished with the likes of ZACH!!!!!! That did my Zen hating heart good!!! I LOVE you Mr. O'Keefe!

That's a great painting, it reminds me of the style of Broadway cartoonist Al Hirschfeld. I love the little bits, the pancakes, the daytime emmy, the fact he included Billy Clyde Tuggle, the punch bowl... a great job. He manages to capture all the characters perfectly.

I am so dense, I actually thought Greenlee was Maggie/Frankie and was scratching my head as to why she was included. Derrrr...

Thanks for posting this. I love this. It too reminds me of a Hirschfeld painting, especially with him hiding his wife's name in it. Hirschfeld hid his daughter's name in his paintings. I may have to order the smaller one it's all I could afford.)

O'Keefe is not a Zendall fan.

Or a Carey fan!

Seriously thinking of buying it as well. Not only is it fantastic, it's probably a good investment as well.

Will he do OLTL as well? tongue.png

Im glad that Zack and the Careys are not in it. But I think that Greg and Jenny should of been in there somewhere. But then the Cliff and Nina fans will be mad that they are missing and than the Margo Flax fans will be mad so maybe it is just better to focus on the last ten years like he did for the most part.

Yeah that was my initial thought too, but really it does make sense to do one era--and probably the last era, issues of quality aside. I think it's brilliant!

Which is why you can tell Billy Clyde must be a family favorite.

You just now Rosie's gonna buy the huge $600 one.
