I don't like or dislike Siobhan but I honestly don't get all the hate for her. It reminds me of what they did to Sam to try and Sell Liz and Jason. And it's backfiring on me because Liz and now Lucky have become 2 of the most unrootable characters on this show. Both the actors come across so sanctimonious in their portrayals, especially JJ, it makes it so difficult to like either of them. No amount of drug abuse, reminders of a kids death is going to change any of that for me. If this is any example of the new writing, this writer has the same heavy handed approach that made me root for Sam and then Lucky way back. I guess I am supposed to find it so so wonderful that Liz is willing to sacrifice and go back to work for the good of the hospital or that Lucky, a drug addict, is so so loved and trusted by Liz that he's willing to put himself in the path of becoming an addict again. Wow how romantic.

Helena is wonderful and totally wasted on yet another santimonious unrootable duo.

What they did to Sam, was for JASON, but hey its foreplay, Jason took her back, even after her watching what happened with Liz & the boys.

Siobhan was never a rootable character, she's a throwaway character and I guess GW has the brains to see that. She never served a purpose, Lucky doesn't love her, he cares for her, but I don't know how many times he has to drum into her twit head that he's just not that into her.

She's a desperate, pathetic idiot who I hope gets killed by Papa Zacchara, especially after what she said in regards to Jake today. That was OVER THE LINE in a big way. Liz should have punched her teeth down her throat for that

I think I said I never gave a rats ass about Siobhan . She was only brought on for Lucky from day 1. Her being destroyed doesn't make me root for Liz and Lucky any more than I had before and its exactly the same as Sam. At the time Kelly was allegedly leaving, now they are likely writing off Siobhan. Don't care one bit if she leaves but it doesn't make me root any more for Liz and Lucky anymore than trashing Sam made me root for Liz and Jason. But whatever contains Liz and Lucky is fine. Put their sanctimonious asses together and be done with it.

As for her being a harpy, name me one thing about Liz she said that was not true to Lizs need to be a pathetic victim, to need to be rescued by a man time and time again and to use Lucky. I would have felt sorry for GVs Lucky being stuck with her again. This version of Lucky, I look forward to the day Liz cheats on him once again or he cheats on her. And I was as OGLL2 fan once upon a time, I thought JJ's Lucky might make me root for them again. Well I am but not because I want those 2 crazy kids to find happines, strictly for containment purposes.

Liz has had plenty of female adversaries over the years. Carly, Sam, Courtney, Brooke.... The difference between them and Siobhan though is that Siobhan does not know Liz. Today was was trashing her and going on about stuff that happened in the past. WTF does she get off? She wasnt around for any of that! To me she had no place to judge Liz on stuff thats based on hearsay. Liz's past marriage to Lucky....she wasnt there for that. Theres so much that she doesnt know yet she's throwing her two cents in. As for Liz's current "sins", bitch needs to shut up bc Liz isnt doing ANYTHING to her. Anyone who's followed my posts know Ive been critical of her over the last year and did see her use her kids to try and manipulate Nik and Lucky when Brook was around and before when she was preggers. Liz isnt doing any of that now. She's not trying to steal Lucky. She's not conniving and scheme as Siobhan keeps accusing her of. Liz didnt try to murder her either. Her constant cruel words of throwing Jake's death in Liz's face, even going so far as implying that Liz let him die on purpose in order to win Lucky back was not only disgusting and cruel, but downright vile. She is an ugly excuse for a human being. If Liz was actually going after her, she'd be a bit more justified with her atittude, but that clearly is not hte case here. I only wish Lucky could see her for the deluded b-tch she is

The writing is so blatant when it comes to Siobhan it's like a sledge hammer. They are trashing her to reunite Liz and Lucky and people don't want to accept it because they never liked her. Cool beans since I could care less. However Siobhan was never a raving lunatic under Guza. As a matter of fact, Lucky had no problem moving on with her since Liz was the cheating whore who couldn't keep her legs closed. Siobhan and Liz rarely interacted and when they did they were cordial with each other but not before Liz bitched at Lucky for exposing a new woman to her fragile little tots out of insane jealousy. Now every time Siobhan is on screen she's screaming at Liz, throwing her dead child in her face, making unfounded accusations and being a flat out bitch while Liz just stands there like the tortured victim being terrorized.

Lucky was the one who insisted upon the marriage because he cared about her. Siobhan was the one who tried to get him to back out many times and he refused. Her getting the green card was only a plus because he wanted to be with her. Liz knew it and she resented the hell out of it. Lucky under Garin now barely tolerates Siobhan and every time they show Liz and Lucky we're suppose to root for them to heal from their box of pain and get back together. And I really resent when people talk trash about her accent because it's borderline racist. It's the same attitude people had when JJ had to speak with an accent and he was flawless with it. I've read so many comments elsewhere where posters are wishing she would get back on her boat back to Ireland and take her accent with her.

Honestly, I could care less about Siobhan but Liz has once again become a sanctimonious bitch who knows if Lucky had to choose he would choose her and her and their "family". And all this bullshit about Lucky needing her on the inside is just that.

Elizabeth needs redemption because the stench of her whoring around the last few years still stinks and demonizing Siobhan by having her throw dead Jake in her face isn't going to erase the fact she's a bitch. Clearly throwing Siobhan under the bus is the direction Garin is using to make people root for Liz and Lucky again. I have no doubt she'll soon be boiling bunnies and kidnap Aidan in the future. Too bad because most of what Siobhan is saying about Liz is actually true.

Know why I don't give a crap? Cause of how many times Luza has thrown Liz under the bus for Jason, JJ Lucky or whomever else he felt needed propping that day. Luza HATES Liz, that was obvious in the writing for her

Then why are you making a big deal out of it

Siobhan is NOT a fleshed out character. We know NOTHING about how she act's when she's in a relationship with a guy, so I'm holding off saying this is OOC or her being thrown under the bus, but if it is, then I honestly won't care.

Siobhan is such a bore, maybe if they had a stronger actress playing her I might give two craps

Having a difference of opinion is not making a big deal because I could say the same about you. You've stated you don't care for the character because she's such a "bore" and you clearly have a bias. It still remains cool beans. Your opinion does not negate the fact that she's now being used as a plot point to reunite Liz and Lucky when for the past year he barely tolerated Liz. What don't you get about that?

I don't think they are doing this for Lucky/Liz. The golden boy is too weak to be paired with anyone. They are just doing this because they think the show needs women who degrade themselves and are presented as stupid and out of control.

If it was all about Liz propping Garin Wolf wouldn't have told the press that Liz is using her dead child to get what she wants.

    • Which is still a form of manipulation. Granted it won't work because Ted isn't interested in Leslie at all no matter how much she tries to make him look like a horrible person. When you consider the situation with Hayley it does make sense why Anita would take that approach.
    • Another good one and great episode to start off the week. Confrontations, character moments, movement, and an awful lot of bubbles on display. lol.    I've found myself liking Sara Bibel breakdowns. And this episode might be why. I sense movement of plot going on. And Jazmen being on script duty has already become a highlight for me. So this episode dealing with more fallout from the SilkPress/Eva reveal was another good one. And even got a solid B plot moving in the Vanessa/Doug/Joey storyline...which I just said yesterday...has been the only one of the B plots...that has real build to it so far.    You are not a real soap pariah until you get dragged and a community treats you as such. So basically another old school soap vibe that Eva is giving me. Watching her trying to find her footing only to be read by just about everyone she has encountered has been great. It makes her so rootable. And she's played by an excellent actress. Cuz that quivering lip at the end with her and Anita...ooooo some of you all seem heated for Anita making poor girl cry even though it's her fault. That's great acting. Not to mention writing.    I also love that the side character got their point of view. I loved Mona moving about town trying to get info to avenge Nicole in a way. And she dragged Eva. She read Silk Press Sheila. And that 'enjoy the burn' was well-said. And did I see a spark with Mona and Randy? Hmmm. I don't mind.

I also didn't mind that Martin/Kat scene. I enjoy their sibling relationship so far. And I feel like the right thing to do to keep them close as they support their mother. It even made sense that Martin would soften to the idea of Eva as part of the family given their brief scene at the start of this storyline. Meanwhile, NO from Kat. lol. And she's already questioning the DNA test...OF COURSE SHE IS. But again...that avail...her and Eva being the SAME age. Twins. I just felt the writers are really foreshadowing that heavy. Meanwhile, the SilkPress saga is far from over.   I love the parade of Ted Visitors. LMAO!!! I thought Dani vs Ted was pretty good. But I about fell out when Anita walked up in there like old school Sonny Corinthos. And I hollered with Anita wiping the floor with Ted with Dani in the background like Jason Morgan. Watch your step, Theodore. Anita was giving Boss Bitca and I was living.    That said...I didn't like Anita making poor Eva cry. But as was said above...the stuff with Hayley is still too fresh on the Duprees' mind. So sadly understandable, Anita set down the law.    Uh oh. Dani saw Vanessa with Joey. Granted they are not the BFFs, but I do hope that that means we are getting a Dani/Vanessa scene. And I loved that we got another step in the B storyline. Doug fighting (and failing) in his addiction. Meanwhile, Vanessa resisted hers. And Joey did not look happy.    And saying the best for last. I LOVE Nicole vs Silk Press Sheila. Ooooo Nicole got under her skin good. And I loved it. I also hollered at Silk Press couldn't even be fake nice for 5 whole minutes to her. DD did soooooooo good. The body language. The looks. The inflections on just the right words. I LOOOVVVE that confrontation and looking forward to more since she clearly verbally cracked SilkPress's face. Meanwhile, I was just as taken aback at Ted showing up at Silk Press Sheila's place. I also thought it was another fantasy. Nope. And then SilkPress put the moves on him and went just a little more cray cray in the coda.    Just such a great episode.

    • Nope still in development. ABC/Disney are having their upfronts today though, so there's a very slight hope we might get an update.
    • Has anyone ever posted January and February 1974? I can't find them in the 'Look Back to 75' thread. Thanks.
    • Did January and February 1974 DSN ever get posted? I can't seem to find it in this thread.
    • I agree. Especially after SilkPress got back to her apartment and started to mock Nicole. Her dislike for Nicole and seeing her as a threat to her getting Teddy Bear is growing worse. So I could see her pulling a kidnapping on Nicole at some point. If anything she was going there to poke the bear and got pressed (pun unintended) when the bear gathered her.   Completely understandable.

    • I swear this entire time I thought Roman knew about the Phillip/Vivian letter lol.  I do like how mature Roman/Kate are as a couple.  It makes me sad the new writers never got a chance to write for John/Marlena. I agree with @AbcNbc247 that the Felicity stuff is a bit after school special-y.  I am pretty sure that (most) of the viewing audience is aware that a grown man should not be shouting at any teenage girl especially one with disabilities.  Just let Xander apologize and move on. Linsey Godfrey was in her Sarah baby voice mode today and it irritates me to no end.   I know it's a cutesy thing her and Xander do but it's annoying. Bringing Kevin back is strange, but I do like the use of history.  I do think Rex probably could have been used instead, but whatever.  I don't care about Rex much either lol.
    • I mean over the past decades. But I do agree that in recent years now, the writing is not working for them as well as it used to then. It's same old, same old...which is what made the Damian storyline refreshing. At least for me.
