Exactly. I think peopl are asking for too much dwelling on that. How are they supposed to explain it? Recast Palmer to explain away what happened after his death? Its something thats best left ignored and not mentioned which I suspect they will do

It seems that a epidemic is going on in Pennsylvania where people are kidnapped and kept in a room for years at a time.

Do a "Just Like Heaven" thing where she was in a coma and it was an out of body thing

Ugh, I just don't want David's fingerprints all of this. That doesn't look like a happy Dixie, who is waiting until she's recovered, for David to take her back to PV. That looks like a Dixie who's been kept prisoner and possibly drugged, for the last 5 years.

Maybe Krystal had her "killed" to protect her paternity secret. Dixie was one of the only ones that you she was pregnant with Tad's kid. Maybe she wanted to get rid of her. In that year since she died, Krystal moved onto Tad, culminating in her finally marrying him by years end and she's taken her place as Kathy's mother and Opal loves her. Maybe she has been keeping Dixie away as to not rock the life that she's created in Dixie's absense

I hope it makes sense, both Careys can conspire and be gone for all I care.

Marissa tried to kill Babe and Krystal covered it up by getting rid of Dixie instead. Its starting to make perfect sense!
