May 12, 201114 yr Member Who do you consider to be the most romantic couple in daytime history? Most romantic couple? Interesting question. Some would say it was Tad and Dixie. Awww. It's funny but I never thought about the romantic aspect of it. That's so funny. Really? I know. Isn't it funny? It's all about love and stuff like that. The person I just can't seem to get out of My Head when you're asking this question is the woman who played Tina (Andrea Evans) on One Life To Live. Everything she did just had such passion in it. She was a passionate person and she was ferocious and funny, and I thought the love scenes and romances were sexy. I liked that because I thought I would probably never be that or have that {laughs}. I'm just too goofy and I don't necessarily think of myself as a glamorous person. She was very glamorous, I thought, with all that wild hair....She was with Cord, wasn't it? Yes. Tina and Cord. Yea, that would be my favorite couple. And he was really manly, and wasn't going to let her push him around. I thought they had something. I love Andrea Evans worship! CM has good taste.
May 12, 201114 yr Member Very interesting that she was going to move to LA for a long term deal. She is for sure alive! Unless, after the cancellation notice, they're bringing her back as a ghost for 4 months, but I highly doubt it. I want to see how the writers explain this. I guess Dixie in her red curly hair and jean cutoffs was just a figment of our imagination.
May 12, 201114 yr Member How often do people cite Cord & Tina as their favorite soap couple? That's pretty awesome.
May 12, 201114 yr Member "Fortunately for me, it looks like I"m going to be able to do more than a couple of shows and actually get to do the little homage to the work that I did with Michael, and to help the fans come to some sort of resolution so that they have some sort of a story wrap-up in a way that feels good to them." This sounds like she'll be a ghost to me but I hope I'm wrong.

May 12, 201114 yr Member So you think they changed her comeback from real to ghost due to cancellation? Possibly She's grateful, that due to the cancellation, she'll get to do more than a couple episodes but just the fact that she assumed it would be a couple episodes? And that it's an "homage"? I'm not sure how I feel about these statements. Let's hope couple episodes meant like 15 to 20 and now she'll be in like 40, lol. Edited May 12, 201114 yr by alexisfan07
May 12, 201114 yr Member So you think they changed her comeback from real to ghost due to cancellation? I think that would be a big mistake - many people have had more than enough of ghost Dixie already. But then they made so many mistakes with Dixie.

This sounds like she'll be a ghost to me but I hope I'm wrong. That doesn't sound like a ghost to me. What she did last time was a wrap-up as a ghost and this definitely sounds like she's referring to a story that will bring Dixie back alive.
May 12, 201114 yr Member It sounds like a ghost to me but the timeline of her debut doesn't make sense for that. I like Tad and Cara a lot, but honestly with the show ending they need to just bring Dixie back, period. They should have done that in any event - ideally, were the show going on, to play a long triangle or quad with Tad, Dixie, Cara and someone else - but especially now with the end near.

May 12, 201114 yr Member Actually, folks, Cady is coming back as Cara. Remember that movie "Heaven Can Wait"? Cara will die saving Griffin from Ricky. This will give Brian Frons God the perfect chance, however, to right a few wrongs and give Dixie, who wasn't supposed to die, a new life in a new body. But only we will know it's Dixie. Everyone else will see only Cara.
May 12, 201114 yr Member After reading this interview ("More than a couple of shows", "homage", "beautiful", "touching"....) I'm back to thinking she's a ghost.
May 12, 201114 yr Member I don't what to think. After reading this I was leaning ghost. Then David got that text today, and IMO it really only make sense if it's about Dixie or Erica. Still seems to soon for Cady to be back as a ghost, unless this is how it wraps up, and she doesn't intend to be there until the end. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
