I think people would laugh and it would be a ridiculous cop-out way to end the show.

Frankly, given how badly OLTL's characters, families and couples have been treated over the years, any way it all ends will come off as "ridiculous" and a "cop-out."

I don't see why it should be Matthew when a useless person like Inez (not to mention her boys) still walks the streets of Llanview. I would much rather have a *Life is so unfair* thing with a person Clint tortured ultimately saving his life than a *heart wrenching Very Special OLTL* where we lose a guy like Matthew. I think this sucks and is a slap in the face to the fans who have put up with the Fords and Rex and David while Buchanans like Matthew and Joey and even Kevin and the others in absentia have been given a raw deal. Oh well. Canceled.
