Budig is probably done with daytime, and even if she wasn't, she hasn't exactly shown great popularity on AMC or any other projects in recent years.

Y&R's idea of interracial relationships would be Debbi fighting Lily for Cane. Debbi would remind him of their old days in Australia, when she called him Sugar Cane.

I really don't see Debbi moving west. She's been commuting for AMC all this time. And didn't Gina want to stay in NYC and that's how she ended up on OLTL? Regardless, I'm glad for the positive buzz.

Debbi's a working actress. She'll go where the money is. Her AMC salary must've been pretty meager, so I'm guessing she needs to work. There's not exactly a huge demand for 50-year-old+ African American actresses, especially those primarily known for their soap work. A one-off role on the NY-based Law & Order: SVU isn't going to pay the bills.
