I thought the worst Kevin was Kevin Stapleton. I thought that the worst Cassie was Holly Gagnier. Ms. Cram was excellent, and Ms. Hadad was an excellent replacement.

  • I watched OLTL religiously from 1968 to 1983. I find it amusing (well, baffling, really) that complaints about the writing would arise "en masse" about Gordon Russell. From 1968-72, with Agnes Nixon a

This is my thought too. In that 1976 dissertation that was archived online about how a soap is written which covers OLTL at the time (and includes a script) either Sam Hall or Gordon Russell actually

I thought I didn't have my copy of the 1976 dissertation on OLTL and how it is written but I found some of the excerpts (this is badly copied from an old photo copy so all errors are due to copy and p

Just listened to it. Very fascinating interview. Especially loved her insights on OLTL in the early 1990s. However, she talks about producing GL in the 1970s (around the time it went to an hour), not writing for the show. She says she was moved to ATWT where executive producer Fred Bartholomew told her she would not be returning to GL. And she then states that she didn't go back to GL. She very briefly talks about producing and then writing ATWT for about a year. After that, she talks at length about her time on OLTL.

Maybe she met Tesreau who was at GL when she was at ATWT. I do know SBH gave Tesreau Tina in 1994 wthout an audition

Stapleton was worse than Ken Kentizer the Ken doll of 1995?

I always get this mixed up - was Haddad on before Gagnier, or was it the other way around?

Haddad was before Gagnier. Gagnier was DOOL while Haddad was toward the end of her stint at Cassie.

OK, thanks. I know that Cram and Koffman were the bookend Cassies, and I knew Gagnier had been on DAYS, but I wasn't sure if she was the second or third Cassie. I appreciate you clearing it up for me!!

Kevin Stapleton was the worst Kevin. That means worse than everyone else.

Wow. As an aside, I thought he and Nathan Fillion looked enough alike to really be brothers.

Haddad was before and after Gagnier. Haddad was on briefly when Elaine Princi came on as Dorian in Mendorra.

Didn't we also see Haddad in a flashback when Koffman's Cassie was talking about Mitch Laurence back in 2002/2003?

No. They hid her face in the flashback used.

I personally thought he was great. An excellent actor and very charismatic.

Kevin Stapleton was the worst Kevin. That means worse than everyone else.
