John Gibson did indeed play Joe Hawk in 1983, he told Jenny that he was a friend of her late husband Peter but really he was spying on David However, from 1991-1992 OLTL had another character named Joe Hawk, who was a friend of Max and was involved in Serenity Springs. I think that of the stars who came to daytime television, her contribution to One Life to Live was the very best! (I especially hated Eileen Heckhart as Ruth Perkins - and, later, the show hired and dismissed her in the role of Mrs. Bourne.) This has nothing to do with the above, but I just learned that actor Joshua Cox (one of the many actors to play Dr. Danny Woleck - he was originally hired to play Jamie Sanders, but Paul Rauch told them to switch roles at the last minute) has changed his stage name to Josh Coxx. I think that sounds similar to some of the pornographic actors. One more comment: John Gibson appeared in the movie The Warriors. One of the stars of that film, Roger Hill, later came to One Life to Live and played Roger Lownes, the football player for Llanview football team (which I was sure that Asa owned) and was in love with Carla.
