September 6, 201114 yr Member I have a photo somewhere of a cute hat charity show and he and Karen Lynn Gorney were wearing cute hats and chatting happily. It's Tara's fault that he ran roughshod over Pine Valley. No wonder she didn't appear for all those years.
September 6, 201114 yr Member LOL! Does anyone know what Gorney looks like nowadays? I think it would have been appropriate for Tara to make a final appearence in Pine Valley....but I guess that won't be happening. I know there were at least 3 recasts, correct? I've seen clips of the blonde Tara. Were the other actresses popular in the role? Edited September 6, 201114 yr by Pine Charles
September 6, 201114 yr Member http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaISR2_0ruE&feature=related Aww I used to rush home everyday after school to watch Cyndi's 20 minutes of soap gossip and recaps on Komo
September 6, 201114 yr Member Someone else will know better than I do but I think Stephanie Braxton was popular as Tara - they only brought Karen Gorney back when Stephanie chose to leave the show. I'm not sure about Mary Lynn Blanks or Nancy Frangione. I think by the late 70s Tara was becoming very played out.
September 6, 201114 yr Member They did something strange with her neck and head in that photo. I love the sweater though.

If anyone should be coming back from the dead on AMC, it should be Phil Brent. IIRC, Phil, last played by Nicholas Benedict, was killed off in a plane crash while on assignment for the government. But we all know how meaningless that is. I say, bring back Richard Hatch or Benedict, then facilitate a reunion w/ Phil, Tara, and even Charlie and Kelsey. Edited September 6, 201114 yr by Khan
September 6, 201114 yr Member Look at these end credits from 1994.... Julia gets attacked by early tea party members. Ah, yes. The days when soaps had the luxury of padding episodes that ran short with 2 minutes worth of credits!

September 6, 201114 yr Member Ah, yes. The days when soaps had the luxury of padding episodes that ran short with 2 minutes worth of credits! LOL I was thinking the same thing--they don't even start rolling the credits till quite a bit in...
September 8, 201114 yr Member Look at these end credits from 1994.... Julia gets attacked by early tea party members. What is Maya doing in an episode from 1994? 17 years ago....is she Julia's unabortion?
