Am I the only one who doesn't care, and will probably find it enjoyable? I've given up on soaps doing anything shocking that doesn't involve killing off a child, it's over-the-top soapy fun and I'm sure Susan Lucci will be a joy in it.

Nope. I'm determined to just enjoy the actors I like doing their thing. Susan Lucci is just fun to watch, so I'll focus on that, instead of how silly the writing is.

I agree. That would be annoying if it happens. I think it's good to care, but I've sort of given up. The days of good build up and soap writing making sense seem to be gone, so I'm just going to enjoy the parts of the show that I can. For me, that tends to be the actors, either because I like them and/or because they are actually good performers. I like SL and VI, so I'll just try to focus on them.

I think Ricky is in on it.

^Ricky is a possibility. Especially since he goes with Kendall to the J&E wedding. Wasn't their something he wanted on the Yacht? Maybe that all ties into this too.

What reason would Ricky have for this? Sorry but that's worse than pinning it on David.

Maybe Erica gets in the way, or stumbles upon Ricky's true identity so he stashes her in a volcano in St. Barts.

Are you kidding? You honestly believe that David would kidnap Erica, hold her hostage and put a double in her place? Yeah, for what reason? What possible reason could he have? You could come up with a reason that makes David more believable to hurt Erica like that, than Ricky?

No, nor do I believe Ricky would either, he'd just kill Erica if she got in his way

What reason would Ricky have for this?

For one thing, he, working in concert with Diana, would need to become as close as possible to Kendall. So if Diana, posing as Erica, were to infiltrate Kendall's life to such a degree where her defenses were entirely down....

Granted, it's not a clear motivation, but it might be what the writers have in mind.
