Oh thanks for that clip. This episode happened soon after the whole Geraldo Rivera-Al Capone's valut fiasco, and the writers cleverly named the character who owned that vault-storeroom, Gerald Rivers.

For one thing, I don't believe the rumors that one of ABC's soap is getting canceled. But after SoapNet goes off, I think it's possible for OWN to air AMC at 8 p.m.

You know I am dying to know what it is...I don't think it's cancellation either. I think OLTL is going to be downsized to 30 mins, and we are going to see 1/4th of their contract performers leave the canvas.

What is the actual theory, does anyone know?

Bill Bell for some reason thought he was some big heartthrob and an answer to viewers fantasies. He wouldn't sign Tom Selleck to pair with Bauer, but went with McCook instead. He then signed him again to lead to B&B. I don't get it. Hasselhoff wasn't all that great as Snapper either.

Central Park West was on the wrong network at the wrong time. 1995/96 CBS was trying to be young and cool to compete with NBC and Fox but it was an epic failure. I consider 1995/96 as CBS primetime's 1990s nadir.

Believe it or not, I remember her more for her appearances on "Three's Company," where she always played one of Jack Tripper's many gfs (except that one where she played the loan officer at the bank where Jack's attempting to get a loan for his bistro).

I'm not sure whether James Harmon Brown and Barbara Esensten wrote breakdowns AND scripts for GL during the Broderick/Curlee/Demorest/Reilly era, but I do remember that their names usually were listed among the dialogue writers (along with Michael Conforti, Lynda Myles, Courtney Simon, etc).
