The credits list someone named "John Tripp" as Jeff. I don't see him in most of the cast lists online for Jeff. Were they really going to pair him with Hilary? She was about 20 or 21 and he should have been in his 40s.

He's OK, I guess, nothing awful or wonderful. I can see why they just threw in the towel.

Elissa Leeds is SO difficult to watch as anything other than child Hope Bauer. Steffi on GH? Ugh.

Lesli Kay was one of the worst recast GH ever had.

Listing JRobin Miller as Lydia Karenin as best Recast made more sense

Lesli Kay was great as Lois IMO. She had good chemistry with the cast, was a physical match, but she didn't have the story to back it up. I thought she was really good in the scenes with Brook Lyn and Sonny.

I liked Lesli Kay as Lois a lot. They wasted her in some sort of lousy subplot romance with Ted King's Alcazar, who they were deliberately moving to emasculate and marginalize on the show (hence dumping the Carly romance and shuttling him off with NuLois and Skye). Their plan worked. But she wasn't suited for that scene - she was great with Wally Kurth.

I know Lisa Lo Cicero was also up for NuLois. She would've been great. It was that recast, which people expected to suck, which actually made me think Lois could work as a regular character again even without Rena Sofer. But now we have Psychic Olivia who - when she's away from Sonny, which is never these days - I still love, and Olivia and Lois are almost the same character.
