I didn't even realize that Lauren and Traci still sang with Danny in 1992. I thought the last time Lauren and Traci actually sang on the show was the Masquerade Balll

I wonder if Sheila ever attended any of Danny's concerts. I would kill to know if she ever reacted to Lauren's singing.

Thanks for sharing Carl! smile.png

It's interesting to read that Melody had a similar back problem, and that it helped her prepare for the addiction story, and I also wondered if she had to have gotten drunk in real life to realize what it felt like to play an alcoholic everyday.

Despite all the negativity that people try to bring on from Melody, at least she is very passionate about the type of different roles she has to play as Nikki. Too many people just phone in today.

I think she always tries, even if she's probably been sick of the whole thing for years. This was her best story so I was happy to learn she took so much care to make it work. Now Nikki's drinking is just written as a joke and a crutch.

It's too bad that most people write Nikki off while talking more about the size of Adam's penis, but I will always think Nikki is an important part of the show. Or would be, on a Y&R that was quality.

Wow, those Victoria/Jack scenes bring back some wonderful memories. I was such a huge Jack/Nikki fan. I loved them as a couple and was so annoyed at Victoria for trying to break them up. The best Nikki ever had it was when she was married to Jack back then.

This might sound strange, but I always appreciated how whenever Nikki was in hospital on deaths door (happened so many times) Melody went sans make-up and looked near death. At least in 1987, 1992 and 1998 I remember her like this. So many actors end up looking made up and perfect that it is annoying.

    • The new Ted comes off as older to me. His stature and appearance remind me of Vernon but without Vernon's charisma. He doesn't have the presence MJ had. Maybe KR will surprise us in the future but I'm not really invested in Ted as a character anymore.
    • Moving closer to the summer, I hope one of the new sets we get is like a beach house with/ a pool or something outside.
    • I agree that Keith's version of Ted does come across as younger. I thought that Ted's conversation with Kat today was interesting. He painted a picture that no one including the audience has seen before. Leslie behaving like he described why he was initially drawn to her, though of course it doesn't excuse him of hurting/cheating on Nicole. I did like Ted's honesty/vulnerability in his conversation with Kat. I also continue to like Bill's relationship with Naomi. I believe he does genuinely love her and vice versa. Like she stated today he doesn't make it easy for her to love him, but she does. I would like to see them team up one day and be on the same side with something. I think that it's interesting that June doesn't know who the pictures of the two children are. I think it might be an older picture of her and Hayley together as siblings, like some people up here have already suggested. I also wonder what Ted will get Eva for her birthday. And I liked Eva giving it a little to Leslie on today's show when she brought up that people may soon suspect Leslie regarding Laura's accident. Leslie tried to spin it more like it may have been Eva's doing to Kat, but I did like Eva standing her ground and telling Leslie she wouldn't allow herself to be used so that Leslie could get closer to Ted.
    • You make some really good points here. I think Abigail Klein is quite likeable she's just been written as very wishy washy and cookie cutter.   There is nothing that makes her stand out as Patch/Kayla's daughter like you stated. Ron never seemed to have a clear idea what to do with Stephanie or who to pair her with.  I do think it's a fixable problem, but she needs to get away from Alex, IMO.
    • NuTed comes off looking and sounding like a weakling compared to both Nicole and Leslie. Smh.

ENOUGH WITH THE VIOLIN. I'M READY TO BURN IT.
    • Keith you're doing amazing Sweetie
    • I'm not caring for Ashley right now. Initially, I liked her but not right now. Currently, I don't care for her individually or with Derek. I can understand her not liking him doing stuff like leaving things around/drinking straight out of the carton. But she still comes across as immature and sheltered to me with her approach in trying to deal with him/their relationship. You can tell she's never really lived with anyone before outside of Jan. She needs to grow up a bit and get some more life experience. Derek probably should just move out at this point. I don't want Ashley near Andre either. Andre has grown on me and deserves someone more interesting and more mature.

Leslie gave her blow-by-blow. Pay attention, Kat.
