And even if they did, I doubt it'd be much fun w/ Jennifer and Maggie talking (again) about Daniel to anyone who would listen.

It would be a great time to bring back several Hortons as well as Don Craig, who almost married Julie, and Neil and Liz Curtis, close friends of D&J. Even Robert LeClair. If they care enough.

At the very least, they could tell us whether Don ever dropped that letter in the mail.

He was swooped up in a UFO and transplanted back to the 70s, where he has been hosting Celebrity Bowling ever since, complete with plaid leisure suit and platform shoes. wink.png

Funny. And yet, more believable than the last several ret-cons to John Black's history.

Heh - and that's just one theory. A more credible variant has Don Craig moving to Santa Barbara, CA, and taking on the alias of CC Capwell. wink.png

I'd be okay with it if they fudged the dates and made Doug & Julie's anniversary the centerpiece of the show's 50th anniversary in 2015 ... as others have suggested, D&J's long history with the show would be a great pretext for bringing characters back.

I can't even get my hopes up that Doug and Julie will play a major part in the 50th anniversary although of course I think they should. I feel as though I would be just setting myself up for disappointment. It seems tptb think Days just started in the 90s.

I'd settle for the hospital's board of directors dedicating a new wing in Tom and Alice Horton's memory.

Well, give them SOME credit. I still think they believe DAYS started in 1983, at least. You'd think the show didn't exist before the Bradys arrived.
