Its sad that Doug and Julie pretty much never returned to the frontburner. And it took Suzanne Rogers years to return to the frontburner following her return. Members DRW50 Posted May 23, 2012 Author Members Share Posted May 23, 2012 (edited) A lot of actors left at this time, some of them very, very good - I'm sorry that Joe Gallison and Launa Sanders and others never got to return. (I know Gallison didn't leave until the early 90's, I just lumped him in). And Alex Marshall and Don Craig not even having any big exit is a shame. When I first read some of Suzanne's interviews at this time I was a little surprised at how blunt she was but as it turns out she was very ill at this point. I never would have thought that would be the case. But I do seem to remember reading that SOD said they had to eliminate DOOL actors from some of the SOD award categories to keep DOOL from sweeping all awards so this fits .
