Bailey Chase, was paired with Alison in the form of Jessica Dunphy

Damn it, I knew there had to be someone...How could I forget pedophile Chris?

Okay, him I thought was a block of wood.

I think there was another actor that played Chris.. by the name of Alan White, I believe.

Ducky? He barely counts. There was a line around the block of Chrises.

I think this is the comprehensive list of the adult Chris Hugheses:

Ben Jorgenson
Paul Korver
Alan White

Bailey Chase

Dylan Bruce

Daniel Cosgrove

They could never get the character quite right.... honestly, I think Paul Korver was my favorite.

Poor Daniel Cosgrove... He is the Ted McGinley of soaps. I think his best role was on Beverly Hills, 90210. But, unfortunately, in all of his roles he is always just kind of there.

My favorites were Paul Korver, Bailey Chase and Dylan Bruce. DC and AW were so wrong for the role.....and Ben was just ok.

Pooh...Cosgrove was wonderful on GL as Bill. They just wasted him on the likes of Olivia and Beth.

Chase and Jorgensen were horrible. Korver, in retrospect, wasn't bad. Bruce. ..eh.

I mean Alan White was literally cursed from his first day. Don’t get me wrong, he was hot and couldn’t act his way out of a paper bag, but Nancy actually uttered the line, “so, what do you think?” It was either a Craig Heller or Lynn Martin day, as we were frequently subject to back then.

It was immediately clear that he was quite sexy but had zero acting chops.

I am trying hard, but cannot even picture him in my head, and I cannot find anything about him on the internet.

He seems sweet and earnest...but acting was not his calling.

I felt the same way about Marty West, who briefly played Shayne on TGL. There was something sweet and endearing about the lad, even though his acting skills were solely lacking. I actually felt kind of guilty, snaking on his lousy performances when the actor came across as an innocent puppy, LOL.

I found Marty West's rear nudity and his homoerotic oil wrestling side career (where John Conboy likely 'discovered' him) to be the most endearing things about him.

The actor he replaced was talented - oddly enough, that guy went on to do a well-received gay indie (L.I.E.) and then AFAIK never be seen again.

Billy Kay. Yes, he was talented and amusing, but not the typical vacuous "hunk" TPTB no doubt required for the role.

At the time I loved Rose, I was drawn into the show by the spa storyline, but looking at clips now I find Martha Byrne 1000% obnoxious. With that accent, that hair, those clothes. I can't imagine how long time viewers felt about all that.

That said, I loved her with Scott Holroyd's Paul. I see he was only on the show for 2 years. Why'd they let him go? He was great. Roger Howarth was seriously miscast and frankly he hasn't given a good performance since 1998.

Speaking of bad recast, I don't even know the actress' name but whoever they cast as Alison after Jessica Dunphy was a mistake. JD was green but super earnest in the role and made a pretty underwritten part into someone you could root for. I loved her and Aaron. I don't understand ANY of the choices they made with that character when they had her and Amber being cam girls or whatever in order to make Daniel cheat on Lily with porn. WTF was that even.
