Honestly, that is very considerate of you. I appreciate it.

Seems like there has been a trickle of former soap stars starting their own YouTube channels. I think Scott may have one, although I haven’t seen it lately and he may not upload often. If only more would do as Patricia Bruder Debrovner has done and post a few complete episodes, maybe we could piece together a few of these missing episodes from the show’s heights.

Nice to see some reaction from Barbara. I don't think I've ever seen them in a scene together.

I can't help thinking of the alleged reasons for why Munker left (she wanted to get away from the Zenk and Jacqueline Schultz feud).

I don't know if Munker has made any comments on these videos - she commented quite a bit on the AW videos. That may tell us how she feels about her ATWT time.

Annie and Brad, grieving through plaid.

The AI-shaped (?) closing credits lifted from 1978 are interesting.

Oh, thank goodness.  The sequence was grisly enough without having to watch them drag her lifeless body out of the water.

I think the fact that they taped it on location makes her death seem more real.  If they had taped the whole thing in the studio, it might've looked laughable, with viewers insisting Melinda didn't really die.

Of course, I understand Brad's grief in this situation, but I think Peter Brouwer was way overdoing it, lol.

Wow!

Love the closing credits!

You're welcome. I was a big fan of both too.

I know Allison Rice Taylor has a YouTube channel but she hasn't posted anything new in a while. Allison said she had classic 90's episodes of ATWT that she wanted to upload.

    • It really does feel like JG is getting off on torturing Shick fans.
    • That part I am not sure about, maybe Depboy might know?  The thing to remember about the show at that time was, it was so plot-driven and desperate that characters and their motivations changed virtually overnight.  There was a period of time where Diana Taylor suddenly became a bad guy and was in cahoots with Cameron Faulkner (toward the end of Valerie Starret's portrayal), which I HATED.
    • I'm going by clips so it's possible that the fan who did the editing made it look a different way than it was.
    • I’m sure Trisha-Mann Grant would love to play those layers too.  It stuck me when she said in an interview that she could identify with the pain Leslie carried because she was a single mother of two struggling with no help raising her kids at one point. You can tell playing Leslie means a lot to her, as devious as the character is (which I’m sure is fun to play for any actor)!
    • Not a director or writer, but Kevin Hamburger is now listed as supervising producer at Y&R, replacing longtime supervising producer John Fisher. Hamburger is a buddy of Steve Kent, going back to when they were both producers at Santa Barbara
    • Getting caught up on last week. The Tracy and BLQ scenes were so good. Jane Elliot and Amanda Setton are just wonderful scene partners together. The relationship they’ve built over the years for their characters is just so rich.

    • Okay sounds nice. I consider myself a dash of Annelle, Truvy, and Louisa.
