Lesli Kay Returns to B&B!

Now that ATWT has ended, Lesli Kay, who played Molly on that show, is returning as B&B's Felicia on October 18 and 19. Kay began her run on B&B in 2005, but in 2009, she recurred on both B&B and ATWT. In 2007, her work as Felicia earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination for Supporting Actress.

This would be great news, if only they would give her an actual story.

I thought this was going to be about Joanna Johnson. I was hoping she'd make a guest appearance to interact with Bill and Liam.

She never had an actual story since 2006, so what's the point? Somehow I don't believe in Brad's promise to give her a story.

Did they end her contract with B&B when they put her on ATWT? It could be that they might be letting her finish through the end of that if the original still exists

I hoped for that, too.

But Joanna is happy as a writer and ABC is happy with her, I guess. That teenage show - whatever its name is - is coming back for another season and Joanna wrote the scripts for half of season 1, so this is good news for her.

As for Lesli Kay: she'll have dayplayer status for that big Stephanie/Brooke-story. Lesli stated she's available for B&B but is also actively looking for other venues. And judging from Brad's latest interview with Nelson Brnaco she's right at doing so. The next time we'll see Felicia is gonna be Xmas...

It's so annoying. Unlike some women on B&B, Lesli is a great soap actress, she has the mannerisms of many classic soaps. She has done a great job when B&B gave her the chance, and she was very good in her thankless return as Molly.

Honestly, I think Lesli Kay makes Shari Shattuck (Ashley#3) an Oscar winning actress. She can stay away from B&B! There is no point for her to be on there too.

Joanna Johnson will only come back not as Karen again but as the back from the dead Caroline in one of Brad's future shock-driven Emmy stunts of the month.

At least Lesli Kay will grace our screens again at B&B even though she will have zero story. Funny how one of the last great storylines B&B has done was Felicia's dying days.
