August 18, 201015 yr Member She didn't have to be. That's a failure of writing and a lack of basic creativity. Even the most halfassed fanfic writer could've come up with a story for Kelly. I'm not sure what you could do with her. I thought that she tanked every single story and pairing she had from 1996-2000, when Gina left. I know Heather Tom had some good moments but even then they couldn't come up with a lot of strong stories for Kelly. Kelly as a character has no personality, no purpose, and is extremely cold, self-righteous, unpleasant, entitled. I guess they could have had her back with Kevin, and I would have kept Melinda alive at least for a while and had them share scenes together, but other than that it's tough to come up with an idea.
August 18, 201015 yr Member When those same posters put themselves out on public display on television and demand that their characters still be written as the premiere sex symbol of their show (as Zimmer did until the end of GL), then we can have a conversation about this alleged irony. Nothing is being said about Kim that she hasn't in some sense brought upon herself. WIN. Kimmer ate it. Like Tony Hawk on a half pipe. Kelly as a character has no personality, no purpose, and is extremely cold, self-righteous, unpleasant, entitled. +1.
August 18, 201015 yr Member Probably and say, I'd bet a millions bucks there's a lot of irony behind this posts If by "irony" you are speculating that the people posting fun about her weight are "weighty" themselves, then by that definition, it's not true irony. Just sayin'.

I'm not defending myself, just replying to a comment you made about this alleged irony between posters and their comments on Zimmer. You obviously feel troubled about the comments being said about Zimmer, I thought you were the one being defensive.

August 18, 201015 yr Member Posters being weighty? That's not at all what I meant. Then stop talking in code and f*cking say it. Put up or shut up.

August 18, 201015 yr Member Then stop talking in code and f*cking say it. Put up or shut up. Uhmmm, excuse you? I think you'd be the one to put up or shut up. You have f*ucking nerve. Did I come out you like that? You need to get over yourself over this B.S.
August 18, 201015 yr Member http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/irony 1. the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning: the irony of her reply, “How nice!” when I said I had to work all weekend. Or in SON speak... "Man, Zimmer is so skinny! Does she ever eat?" "Alicia Minshew is so f*cking fat! God, bitch needs to join Jenny Craig!" "Laura Wright is such a subtle actress." "Nelson Branco is such a positive face for gay men and soap opera fans." Uhmmm, excuse you? I think you'd be the one to put up or shut up. You have f*ucking nerve. Did I come out you like that? You need to get over yourself over this B.S. You've been passively/aggressively saying thinly veiled insults and comments towards posters in this thread the entire time. I'm just saying if you have something to say, then say it. Otherwise, [Judge Judy]Speak not.[/Judge Judy] Edited August 18, 201015 yr by bellcurve

Just because YOU didn't get my little sarcasm doesn't give you the go ahead and bitch out at me over this silliness. I don't owe you any explanations. Thank you.
August 18, 201015 yr Administrator Enough with the back and forth...GEEZ! And we also don't need so many posts of making fun of her weight. You got your shot in....isn't that enough? Do we need so many pages of making fun of someone's weight. Come on. Will re-open thread soon....you guys need to cool off.
August 18, 201015 yr Member Hopefully Zimmer isn't so expensive other actors get fired. Edited August 18, 201015 yr by DeeeDee
