Sonny's discussions with his children (or for now, with Kristina) amount to: "Your mothers were just easy pieces I spent time with to get over my great love for Brenda". Can you imagine waxing poetic about the love of your life with your children and it's not their mother(s)? Kristina, if she was allowed to be written with any sort of intellect, should be hearing that her father has a longstanding history of cruelty to women that he tries to justify and treat as acts of nobility.

I bought that scene from a daddy issues perspective. When the relationship with one's father is as rocky as Kristina whenever the opportunity presents itself (especially from an impressionable age) you still want to believe in your father being capable of great things. In Kristina's case she wants to believe her father was capable of being inebriated by love. I get the impression that by now Kristina makes no qualms about the fact that her father was not in love with her mother and of course Brenda and Sonny's story was way more complicated and darker than htye each even touched ont oday but I get the Sonny/Christina scene from Kristina's P.O.V

She is even doing an essay on Brenda lol...She seems to be an idol of Kristina's. I think theres no doubt Kristina will be part of what brings Brenda/Sonny closer when Brenda finally gets back to PC.
