Yeah, probably were trying to copy Jammy from GL.

He should have been brought back in late 2008 instead of Brady, he would have fit much more into the baby switch storyline, and with the absences of Marlena and much of the Bradys, Sami needs her twin brother around.

I always thought Dan wells would have been great as Eric.

I almost forgot about the founding family of Bay City..............The Matthews!

Also remember a kid Marlena had adopted or something on days before Eric & Sami Gene and after DJ. Whatever became of that kid.

yes Molly. As Bianca's sister, I cant beleive they havent brought her on yet. She'd have a different dynamic as a younger sibling than Bianca has with Kendall.

Speaking of that family, Id add Trey. Kendall needs her brother. Once they created Josh, they acted like he didnt exist and look how well that ended up. There are so many stories that could be told with him bc he is also David's brother. I really think he neesd to return

I agree, I always wanted Sarah back in Salem being a friend to Sami like Jamie use to be or make her a friend to EJ like Sandy use to be to Tony. Serving as the lawyer for the hospital bring Neil on to bond with her unless they bonded offscreen. Natalie Zea would have been great as Sarah Horton.

I always thought that if the show wanted to expand the Lewis family, they could have done so with this character; most notably her past with Andy Norris. It would have been an interesting story to see play out if it was revealed that Trish became pregnant during her time with Andy and put up their child for adoption knowing what a manipulative person Andy was. I could see Trish's son harboring deep seeded resentment towards Trish/the Lewises and the Spauldings, yet a close bond with Holly and Blake.

Trudy Bauer

Meta Bauer-Even though the character was brought back sometime in the mid 90s, I think such a character should have been brought on

immediately after Charita Bauer's passing.

Quint and Nola's children? Both Stacey and J/AJ should have been major players in Springfield.

OLTL

Riley (??last name??)

Miles Lawrence

Riley Coulson.

There was so much they could have done with Trish, it still bothers me when I think about it, and Rebecca Hollen was such a good actress. With time she could have been close to what Maeve Kinkead was to the show -- a balance to the show's more extreme female characters.

I still can't believe how they brought back J and then did so little with him after the stuff with Michelle fizzled out.

I agree, carl. The same with Ben Reade and making him crazy in the end. The Grant family on GL are unsung as well along with Amanda Spaulding, Vicky and Victoria Spaulding.

When AW used Rebecca Hollen as John's Girlfriend they could have just crossover Trish Lewis and have her interact with the Corys and Hudsons.

    • I pray⏤and I know it's a big prayer⏤that Noel Maxam is somehow able to figure things out budget-wise so we can stop re-dressing existing sets as "new" sets. I know in apartment buildings apartments can generally look the same, but I'm over it on this soap. The last time he was executive producer was in 2011 when the original Horton Town Square was introduced, and we had some other sets get introduced around this time (likely pre-commissioned prior to his election), but I'm trying to have some hope he can pull this off. Let's [finally] see it.
    • Definitely not the best of RC's breakdowns. I don't know what it says that I could pick up his trademarks yesterday 30 minutes in without even knowing that he did one. There was something more...quirky/boardstroked...about Dani. Though I love the Dani/Nicole scenes, she was just a little too hip?...which made me think back to the episode when she broke into Bill/Hayley's house. Then watching the episode later on, I saw Hayley was being used as a punchline to the more interesting and relevant Bill/Ted scenes (see you all were just talking about how you hoped they got scenes...one thing this show is great at...what people want on this board...they already have the foresight for it. The reason I feel the DNA test will get mentioned @Cheap21 in more detail). And then poor Anita reduced for the most part propping up an album.    Needless to say, not my favorite RC episode. And since we are in aftermath week, I just smh. And barely worth a rewatch. BUT...was there good for me?    Yes. Thankfully, we still got good aftermath beats regardless of the breakdown.   Like I said, I really like the Dani/Nicole scenes. But I love their dynamic. And I was looking forward to the shoe being on the other foot once the SilkPress storyline hit climax. Quirks aside, it did not disappoint. Dani came in, and she came in fierce for her sister. I loved her attacking Eva. And then her being surprisingly introspective about Nicole due to her own experience. No wonder Nicole reacted to her being self-aware. So did I.    Meanwhile Bill and Ted finally met up. I'm kinda sad that we did not get that sooner given the scenes that played out sidepiece in the background aside. It might have been interesting to see more of their status as non-Duprees coming into the family explored.    And of course I can't leave without mentioning Eva vs SilkPress Sheila which was the highlight. Both of them were giving. And SilkPress was just so cold with it. I did love that Eva finally stopped letting her gaslight her. Sad to see the duo break up. But I did love that she went to Ted. So...the next turn begins.   And speaking of turns...uh oh at Kat and Tomas. I'm sure he won't be staying away from her. So most definitely, Kat vs Eva ain't over. It will be interesting to see how it goes now that most people know that Kat was right all along.
    • Nah I enjoyed it much more last year because of the Harry plot that ended during that time. Nazar being introduced and them. But this time it is so lame and nothing I like forward to anymore and I’m one of them long time fans. Of course I would be upset if they would cancel it but maybe take a year off or two and return refreshed
    • came across this quote that provides some context: “It’s hard to escape the cultural reach of the Catholic Church when you live in the Western world. It is, for better or worse, one of the load-bearing walls of our civilization. Its influence wafts from the church into the streets of civic life, the courts, the schools, the arts.”
    • Yesterday's show:   Can they give Ambyr Michelle the Emmy for supporting actress already?   Truly enjoyed the episode from Leslie and Eva, Eva and Ted, Nicole and Dani to Anita and Nicole.

    • Yes, I noticed after discovering Chandler was in several episodes. It's a shame it was canceled. I'm glad I was able to watch Chandler's episodes.
    • I'm Catholic, and I care, as do many who aren't Catholic. No need to be so nasty about it.. The whole episode was on Paramount Plus. That is where I watched it..
