Aren't satisfied with the performance of a recent hire and have taken steps to right their wrong. The original plan was for a character to be pivotal in a number of core families, but lack of chemistry with those family members, not to mention no sizzle factor with their planned love interest, has their head nearing a chopping block.

Alot are guessing Maya from GH?

I don't think he's BAD, but he definitely lacks chemistry with his onscreen family and now that they've probably taped scenes of him interacting with the Q's(in prison or something), they have realized that he is clearly miscast.

Hmm didn't think of him, but possibly.

I hope Drew comes back, seeing Chad makes me miss Drew in the role

Has Chad even filmed any scenes with this love interest? I thought that was a long while off.

It also sounds like this character was GOING to be involved with core families. Michael already was when CD took over.

I wonder if it's Nate on OLTL, or Damon on AMC.

A part of me even wonders if this might be Gina Tognoni...

It's probably because it's the only show I really watch, but my mind immediately went to Nate on OLTL for some reason. I think I'm way off though.

I thought of him too. They obviously have some sort of plan for him, but I don't know if anyone has been bowled over by this weird age-inappropriate romance with Danielle.

Okay, I'm watching her right now and I swear whenever I hear her voice I get so mind effed. I guess the same's been happening for loyal AMC/Y&R viewers since she started this new gig. She has this child-like high octave quiver and imo she's no more "type appropriate" than Vail Bloom for this role, they were obviously going for child-woman come lawyeress.

I thought Bryton was fired?

I'd guess Maya from GH based on the clues. Doubt it's Gina Tognoni since this sounds like a new hire. Could be Damon from AMC but I doubt it...

Eden Riegel, Darius McCrary seem like the most obvious choices. I thought the actress playing Maya was fitting in well. She hasn't been given much to do and you know they never intended to.

I was thinking of Eden too. She is SO ridiculously miscast. I was watching a scene with her and Doug Davidson last week, and there was just no connection. Say you want about Vail, but she seemed more the part. Eden's very popular in the soap world, so it's probably going to be one of those things where they will definitely make it happen no matter, probably at the expense of the integrity of the story and the other characters.

Eden Riegel is ridiculously awful as Heather. She's better suited for Mac, and I think she could've made that role likable. But now she's hated by the Vail fans and the Heather haters, so she's doubly screwed. Her little-girl voice is pretty annoying too.

Eden Riegel is giving Amelia Heinle a run for her money over-paid derriere... both are incredibly miscast and prove that they are highly overrated and truly afwul actresses...
