Members NYC123
Ouch to OLTL. Not surprised though. This show is just a MESS. How did AMC/GH do Toups??
Members DRW50
Given that a Tori Spelling show, even if it's cheaper, would probably be lucky to break a million viewers, very lucky, and probably wouldn't have great demos either, I will be surprised if it goes anywhere on the daytime lineup. Members JackPeyton
I agree. Also people need to stop worrying about this. It was reported its in the EARLY stages of DEVELOPMENT. If it even makes it to a pilot it will be a long time and at least a year before it airs. We are gonna hear about A LOT of "stars" doing these talk shows because every company/network/studio is looking for what can replace Oprah when she goes off the air. Also, I do tend to believe if ABC went ahead with this it would replace the View and the View would go syndicated to try and replace Oprah. Members DRW50
Yow, that is a bigger Y&R drop than I'd expected. That's around the area that got Josh Griffith fired and brought in Rauch and Sheffer.
Members NYC123
HORRIBLE Numbers all around. Ouch to AMC with that 518k in the demos but didn't move in the Total Viewers. Weird. WOW! OLTL is sinking in both categories...Hate seeing low numbers like these....
Members Jonathan
These are bad. All My Children broke 800K in February in 18-49 and now it's only reaching 518K in April?

Members Y&RWorldTurner
When was the last time Y&R got an overall 3.5 in HH's, it had to be sometime in the earlier part of fall 2009, right? I'd love it it they had another massive ratings erosion, it's also been a while since they dipped below 5 million, right? Y&R's falls were more massive than I expected. I at least expected them to dip to a 3.6 or 3.7. But 3.5? But these falls are WELL DESERVED though. I know I finally gave up on the show last week, maybe others have finally thrown in the towel with this nonsense show. I mean seriously, two storylines with doppelgangers going on at the same time? Members MontyB
I just don't know why anyone would be happy the a soap opera gets low ratings or has gone down in the ratings.
Members DRW50
True. I'm not happy about the show falling so far, I'm just relieved that some other people out there are apparently sick of this sh!t thrown at the screen. The show is rotgut and has been for well over a year. Yet they have gotten away with it because the ratings held up.
Members marceline
Thursday seemed like a weak day for most soaps, not just CBS. Were there any preemptions?

Members quartermainefan
Perhaps not. I am happy though that OLTL's firing of Kish so they could get back to telling the stories it's Klan audience wants to see is paying off for them as handsomely as it is. ABC is the one who put forth the argument that Kish = ratings good and bad, so mazel tov to OLTL on their shrewd business decisions that has led the show to become the ratings dynamo it is today.
