First Air Date Set For New AMC Scribes

The material crafted by new AMC Co-Head Writers David Kreizman and Donna Swajeski will begin airing May 12, an ABC rep confirms. "Part of the goal," Kreizman told Digest about their first few weeks at the helm, "is giving a sense of the tone we want for the show, adding a good dose of romance and a good dose of fun."

Kind of generic. Doesn't every soap aim for romance and a dose of good fun? May 12 is coming up quickly. I'm interested to see what they bring to the table.

Weird. D&D were just recently telling all the magazines that their work didn't start until the last week of May. Wonder how it got bumped up.

... because it worked so well for The Guiding Light. Does anyone else see Kreizman is the real life version of David Brent? He reads as all confidence zero competence.

I've learned to ignore all pre-stint HW interviews because most of the time they're either lying or overestimating their own opinion.

Not to mention, they've "met with Agnes."

Looking forward to it a little bit, but being cautiously optimistic. From reading the spoilers coming up, overall things seem promising. I wonder what they have coming up for the Summer, and it'll be interesting to see what breakdown\script writers come and go from the show in the coming months.

They also, almost always, say the same vague stuff (including as Sinclair said, meeting with Agnes if it's AMC). I admit, I'm cautiously optimistic especially if Broderick sticks around--the spoilers we've read are actually promising sounding to me.

OLTL doesnt. Its into inventing new ways to piss off its audience and drive them away. They're getting really good at that!
