Y&R: Actor Set To Return!

I hope this is ok, if I've done anything wrong please feel free to edit accordingly.

Entertainment Weekly (@EW) has just tweeted that David Hasselhoff is set to reprise his Y&R role of Dr. William “Snapper” Foster, Jr. He’ll return to the show’s Los Angeles set in May for an arc that will start airing in mid-June.

I thought this part was interesting.

Hasselhoff won’t be the only Foster family member to stage a surprise homecoming: Veteran TV actor Wings Hauser will also reprise his role as Snapper’s brother Greg, and Julianna McCarthy will pick up where she left off in 2008 as matriarch Liz Foster Brooks. She is the mother of Jill Foster Abbott, who is currently played by the Emmy-winning Jess Walton (who didn’t start playing the character until 1987 so there will be no vintage shots of the Foster family).

In-depth article at the source with a YouTube clip.

Another character for MAB to ruin?

She's through ruining the present and the future, so the past is all that remains.

Please don't kill off Liz :( :(

I was going to say why not bring back James Houghton as Greg, like they did before, but since LML fired him and so many other talented backstage people, why bother to bring him back, eh? More of MAB and her "respect" for Bill Bell's legacy. Respect my ass.

I hope this will at least mean some sort of decent scenes for Jill, unless they are all coming back to tell Jill what an awful person she is.

Running out of ways to manipulate the audience into thinking the show you're writing is classic Bill Bell-style Y&R, Maria?

Hahaha...You'd think Bill Bell were writng the show...but once you tune in u know its just a cheap imiation of William's work.

This would be awesome news if William J. Bell were still writing the show. So is Brenda Dickson coming back as "The Real Jill"??ph34r.gif

She's the new Adam.

No...the Real Jill left when she realized she was a lesbian....so she replaced herself with this Jill...now being played by Jess Walton.

MAB honors old school Y&R history by bringing back the Brooks and the Fosters!

--Lorie Brooks returns having plastic surgery to look like Nikki because she's obsessed with Victor.

--Bill Foster tells Liz that the reason he left them is because he's gay.

--It is revealed that Eric Forrester is actually Lance Prentiss because Lance is Eric's doppelganger.
