I don't give Goutman any credit. He should have recast the role of Noah almost immediately when he saw that JS was a sh!tty actor. Instead he let JS with his limited abilities contribute to ruining what should have been a groundbreaking gay romance. Goutman should also be slammed because it is obvious that he going to reunite Noah and Luke in the final episode instead of shipping Noah and Luke off to different continents and leaving Reid as King of the ATWT.

Goutman is going to do whatever s h i t he wants to do now. He always has....of course we will get a boring Luke and Noah reunion and ending...barf.

We have to remember this is the same man who got Martha Byrne fired. The ratings never recovered after she left. ATWT was above 2.0 and the minute she left the show went downhill. Yes, the writing was shitty but still.

I think the majority of the Reid/Luke people want one out of two things (or will take either one): 1. Reid and Luke get together on a PURELY sexual level, or 2. Reid and Luke have a long, long drawn-out story. Option 2 is out because the show only has a few months left and plus...come on this is Jean and Chris. Long and drawn-out ain't there thing unless it's Marie Wilson and Roger Howarth running around screaming the same lines all episode.

Actually, now that you've mentioned it, I've already put in my two cents at TWOP haha. I'm bluegray73 there.

I'd join AfterElton, but eh, I don't know if I want to go through the trouble. I figured it would be easy to explain to people that it's pretty simple. Jean and Chris are the definition of hit and miss. When they do something good, it's GOOD (the Bob/Kim episodes, for example; Jen's death, for example), but when they do something bad, it's awful, and as far as creating an interesting character goes, Noah is/was a MISS and Reid is a HIT. I understand people think he's rude and mean and douchey, but so what?! I don't need all my soap characters to be sweethearts. There's no f'n drama in that. Give me months of story where we find out why Reid is such a douche. Give me long, long scenes of Reid and (a much better written) Luke talking and sharing stories. I don't expect it because it's just not what ATWT does anymore, but the sucker in me will take any scraps I can get it.

I felt very similar about Noah and that Z twin. There was story potential all over that ish before the twins were revealed to be April 2009's Villains of the Month. I'm sorry, but if people want to watch a young soap couple who are being compared to a couple who are like 40-50 years older than them, that's fine, but fer the love er God! I don't wanna watch that!

It also helps that ESS is a much better actor than JS. JS makes Noah boring as hell. I think Ann said that Goutman should have recasted Noah as soon as he saw JS wasnt working out in the role. I agree with Anthony about JS being awful as a blind character. He is spot on. I knew JS couldnt handle the role. I think thats why his role on the show has been diminished. He really hasnt been part of the Luke and Reid story like a triangle should be.

So I am hearing Eric Sheffer Stevens, Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann will be sitting together during the ATWT luncheon in April. Supposedly the Nuke fans/Noah fans are pissed off that they are writing the person in charge of the event and want Mr. Stevens kicked out of the event or table from Hansis and Silbermann. I knew the Nuke fans were crazy but really.....some people need a life.

I don't condone that behavior (if it's true) but at the same time I think putting ESS at the same table as VH and JS is a bad idea honestly. It's bound to be a bit awkward. Wouldn't it be better to put ESS with Terri Colombino or someone like that, maybe at a table right beside VH and JS.

Awkward for who? I'm sure that ESS, VH, and JS don't give a flying flip. If anything I'm sure JS is relieved to have ESS around so he doesn't have to kiss VH. It is only awkward wacky Nuke/Noah fans who can't separate fact from fiction. I hope that that VH and ESS start making out at the luncheon and send the lunacy Nuke/Noah fans over the edge.

I've never heard of any fans suggesting that VH and JS would kiss. I did however hear that some press person wanted them to do that at the red carpet at the GLAAD awards a few years ago.

And frankly I don't get the disdain that some people seem to have for the Nuke fans. They are no different than any other fangroup, but they seem to be regarded as just a bunch of crazy people. If they have been vocal in their support for their favorite couple I can't say I blame them. Luke & Noah have been treated like second class characters for a long time by TPTB at ATWT.

And don't you think it could be awkward for ESS if the majority of people who come to that table are more interested in Luke & Noah and only want to take pictures and get autographs from VH and JS. I think that's a quite possible scenario. Placing those three at a table together would be like putting Kelly Monaco, Steve Burton and Rebecca Herbst at the same table.

And as far as separating fact from fiction I've seen quite a few Reid-fans attributing ESS the same persona as his character. There was even one fan who thought that he wouldn't put up with the same lousy writing that Van and Jake has and would give the producers some of the same attitude that Reid gives Bob.

In any case, the only way it would be awkward for ESS is if Nuke/Noah fans act like asses insulting him and embarrassing themselves like they are doing now writing letters trying to dictate where the actors should be placed.

No, it's not the only scenario, but considering the fact that places at the luncheon are booked well in advance don't you think it is more plausible that a long-term popular couple like Luke & Noah have more fans there than a newcomer like Reid?
