RHOA

I enjoyed every scene except Porsha with her mom, they're clearly setting up a Porsha/Shamea fallout.

Kenya is actually getting a really good edit this season, the limited camera time makes her more likable to me. And, it makes you miss her because she is the only one playing EP and pushing the stories.

I am also loving Cynthia in her limited role. Having her dish out wise advice just feels right.

Brit is great around the other ladies, truthfully she comes off as very subtle and sweet; but around her husband, it's like another show.

Shamea and Kelli are top-tier housewives imo. They are adding the wealth, events, substance, and revealing layers to their personality.

Shamea and Angela have a nice feud percolating. And I am guessing Kelli and Porsha will become Frienemies.

I like Charles more than I like Angela.

Overall, the show is decent, and for the first time in years the newbies are carrying the show.

Porsha and Drew are the weak spots for me right now. I have no reaction to Drew crying cause I don't care.

Thank you! I will try it out.

Teresa has been slapped with a $300,000 tax lien;

Luis has been slapped with a $2,500,000 tax lien;

Luis has taken out a $1,000,000 mortgage on their home; and

Luis is being sued for $300,000 about an investment gone wrong.

The most cohesive they have ever been. And I LOVE.

My faves...Garcelle (YASSSSSSS), Kyle (I said it), Erika (yes, I said that, too)

In-between: Dorit, Jennifer Tilly, Kathy

Nope...Sutton, Boz

Oh my God!

I did not see that coming. I came on here to say how great she looked in her reunion look -- a nice nod to the 90s, too.

Speculation could say 'Oh, something happened at reunion yesterday to prompt this decision,' but the planned statement suggests this may have been on Garcelle's mind for some time.

I noticed Twitter had gotten b!tchy and dismissive of her as 'a bore,' and I wonder if she decided she had gleaned all she could from the franchise and now was an opportune time to leave before things possibly soured.

OR! Lisa Rinna is coming back, and so Garcelle peaced out.

Either way, I like her. Her arrival marked the beginning of the end for the Coven/Faux Force Five, and for that I say, Garcelle, Thank You.

I mean... who saw this coming??

I'm sure you suspected it would end up this way, as most of us here did. Especially as Teresa is not getting a Bravo check this year.

By my calculations, that is $4,100,000 in debt on these 4 items alone.

Im really gonna miss Garcelle. I wonder why she announced now instead of after the reunion. I can only assume so that its clear that its her choice and that she isnt fired

Yeah, I just listened to her instagram video she made about this.  Sounds like 100% her choice - her son is graduating high school and another is starting a new career and she really wants to be present and around for those things in the next year, along with all the other non-RH projects she has coming up.  I think contractually she had to wait to say something until after the reunion is filmed.

Now who is Sutton going to lean on - she'll be an island, because Kyle isn't that girl for her, as much as Sutton wants it haha.

I do hope this means we have new blood and a shakeup in BH next season.  This season just wasn't it for me.

Truthfully, on this these types of shows... I think 4 to 5 seasons is the max you should be on the show.  Unless you have an interesting personal and family life that you're willing to share.

We've seen everything within Garcelles life, and I'm going to be honest... I would have respected her more if she had opted to leave after the vile way her son was treated.  Her coming back showed that she put her career over her child's well being.

With that said, she had a good run and she's leaving while still on top.  Something maybe Vyle Kyle should have done a few seasons back.

I listened to her good-bye and understand, but I can't help, but wonder...given the reunion dress...if she went out with a bang, too.

Honestly, after her first two seasons, I was over Garcelle. She did change the dynamics though. I enjoyed her friendship with Sutton.

This does put Sutton in a peculiar spot. Excited to see what she does NOW.

I actually agree, 5-7 years is more than enough time to conquer the genre, build a solid new following, etc. She had a nice run!

And now word is their New Jersey home is up for sale.

Teresa deserves everything coming her way. The hubris this woman displays is appalling.

Ugh. This truly sucks. Garcelle has been a breath of fresh air for this show and one of the bright spots.

This has been a lackluster season for me. It started off well with Dorit's marriage imploding and her fight with Kyle...but once that settled, nothing happened. I feel Dorit is the one who gave the most in terms of storyline.

Kyle is unwilling to tell the truth about her life and is supported by the rest of the cast in doing so. She otherwise is dull as dishwater and always has been.

Erika's storyline was about wallpaper.

Sutton reacted to everyone this season.

Boz had a good introductory season.

Jennifer and Kathy added sparkle and humour. But nothing else.

I enjoyed their individual scenes with other characters before they all came together at the Pub to commiserate over their relationships with Sami. I thought that was broken down pretty well. I just wish it had gone on a little longer. And I actually found it kinda funny too lol it seemed more mature than what we're used to. That's the kind of humor that should be on a soap. But I'm not really sure about all this talk of Dante Vitali and Sami's engagement though, especially since it doesn't look like Ali Sweeney is coming back anytime soon. What's the point of it all if we're (probably) not going to see it? It also looked like today was the first round of Brady vs. Xander as well lol I enjoyed their fight, and I'm interested in seeing this storyline play out. Even though I'm sure that Sarah will ultimately go back to Xander in the end, I'd like to see what happens along the way, and how they and everyone around them are affected by this. Btw, Theo and Jada? Idk. I still think he had the most chemistry with Arianna. And he was a bit of a dick too. It also seemed a little out of character for Jada to be so OK with him being such a dick  And though Alex and Stephanie were very boring again and need much better conflict than this book stuff, I am interested in the mystery of who's targeting Alex.  And yeah, I know this is a nitpick, but why is the Square still open after the gala? Isn't it supposed to be really late at night?
    • In fairness, Hillary and Bob Woods were thick as thieves again at least by the end of OLTL. But both she and I believe Mark Derwin not so subtly dissed Kale Browne in the oral history, lol.

Does anyone have screenshots of it?
    • Geez, I hadn't heard that Doctors story. HBS really did go through it.
    • No offense to the actors involved, but dear God in heaven: I don't know HOW viewers managed to get through that storyline with Maggie, Frank, Cal and baby Jill without running into oncoming traffic.  Then, to make matters worse, they dragged poor Diana into the mess!  I don't care WHO gets that damn baby!  Just wrap it up and move ON already!
    • Poor HBS.  To have to put up with Stephen Burleigh, who stuck his knee between her legs while rehearsing a love scene on THE DOCTORS, then told the director that's what he did with his wife; Kincaid, who had more hair on his chest and upper lip than Koko the Gorilla; Kale Browne, who taped his lines all over the OLTL studio floor, because he couldn't ever be bothered to [!@#$%^&*] memorize them; and Robert S. Woods, who apparently thought it was still 1979 and that he was still smolderingly sexy, so why should Bo Buchanan be stuck being in a happy marriage with Nora?  After all that, no wonder she jumped at the chance to play a lesbian on VENICE, lol.
    • @Maxim Thank you for the mini-review and clip from several pages ago. I appreciate you using the Bo/Alex clip as them meeting again by this point was a real surprise to me. The scene has some layers, getting a glimpse of Alex genuinely wanting the best for Bo rather than gloating. I was disappointed it ended with Tina dragging her out of the room for some much less interesting sparring (I did enjoy Alex pointing out just how quickly Tina got over Cord).
