I love Heather. Somewhat surprised that she’d return full time after her comments on the show and how it affected her life, but she’s about that $$$$ and promoting her brands as well. I’m glad that we have a member of Team Sober returning, as the last season tipped the scales too far into the drinking and other substances.

If Kathy is going to keep accidentally posting her business on public forums, I am going to love her. 🥰

I just heard that the Atlanta trailer is delayed to early November and the premiere date may be delayed too - guessing maybe some editing going on around certain housewives/friends of status??

We still got a new treat though today - SLC intro and taglines!!!  They're holding snowflakes and these taglines are pretty good.  The slow dramatic music is my favorite though - I'm living for that music!

I'm still having a hard time telling Meredith and Lisa apart though - they look identical to me.

The taglines are clever but their deliveries aren’t quite landing them for me. The visuals are good.

Agreed on the ho-hum deliveries. The visuals are nice, but it also comes off as generic/parody to me, but I suppose all new Housewives shows initially come off that way. Of course, I'll check it out. We all dogged Potomac when it premiered and it's practically the crown jewel nowadays, at least in terms of enjoyment if not for ratings/recognition.

I wish there was some age variety. Reminds me of Dallas when it premiered, which I ended up not watching.

Side note: my brother and his wife live just outside SLC. I hope they see someone they recognize or see them filming at some point next season :)

Mary’s tag line is ICONIC! Those are overall a good bunch of tag lines. As for the RHOA delay, I’m wondering if that’s due to their constant pass the peach. Remember Tammy was a full time HW with Kim Fields and due to that Miami trip she got cut. We know that things have been shifting with this big cast so I wonder if they’re changing stuff around.

Thank you for laying it out like that. Seeing Monique filming mostly alone on the show and After Show, it is hard not to shake the feeling that Gizelle has triumphed in getting Monique iced from the show -- kind of like the Manzos got Danielle iced from NJ, even though she was a fan favorite. I still feel like the deck is stacked against Mo, but I also recognize that production need her. Monique *IS* the only storyline this season.

The 3 major physical altercations last season and this season have one common denominator. I actually feel empathy for Candidacy because, like Monique, she has anger issues that she is not confronting. She is trying to temper that anger, but a lot of the other women are more than happy to push her buttons in order to achieve a desired result. Candiace's rage obvs stems from her dictatorial mother and feelings of powerlessness over her own life. So she acts confrontational in order to feel powerful.

Re: the bold. Wendy is in financial strife?

Yup.

Someone in Wendy's camp has been leaking to blogs that she and Eddie are basically broke due to all their student loan debts (reasonable and relatable in this age), so this show is a way to help pay those debts.

It makes sense why she has a hard on with fighting with Karen (the star) and being pro-icing out Monique. It makes it easier to want keep her around another season.

Okay it looks watchable, but personally I would’ve given Marlo that long awaited peach. Still most excited for Salt Lake City and Dallas!

Marlo works best as a friend.

5 housewives is the way to go.  6 is also ok...but 7 or more is way too much.

Only 5? How New Jersey of them. I would've given someone a sixth spot (Tanya?). I guess this is Bravo's way of cutting costs, similar to soap operas when they started dropping people to recurring status to save on contract money.

Now that Marlo has kids I think she could work as a HW. At the very least since we know she’s paid like one, I wish they’d still give her solo scenes even if she doesn’t truly hold a peach.

People made Drew out to be boring as hell, but from the trailer it looks like she was doing a little something. Now it makes more sense why she always had a peach. In general though, I do think ATL needs to step up their casting. They need to start looking EARLY and add someone truly dynamic like a Garcelle or Sutton. These “okay” housewives aren’t going to cut it.
