It's like a mix of Beverly Hills glamour, with the class of the New York women and the grounded nature of DC. There are just enough of all the ingredients that make a Real Housewives show successful. I hope it doesn't become hateful and toxic. I love that the women are mostly smart and have careers. I love that Lydia has a new, rich husband and instead of bumming around or using her husbands money to bankroll a vanity business, she's actually going back to school to get a degree and be self-sufficient. I love that! Janet is also supporting herself, Jackie is a psychic and Gina is a lawyer. I appreciate their over the top-ness more because they're being smart about it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Jackie the Psychic! She is going to be an absolute delight to watch.
