I'm not sure that Fumero and Sumpter are that safe. I would not be surprised to hear that they have been taken off contract. OLTL is attempting to cut their budget without firing any of their terrible major actors. All the supporting actors are probably in danger.

I've given up thinking they will ever get rid of Fumero. Although I think Ford has taken Cristian's position on the pointless eye candy scale.

OLTL is hiring people who cannot act (The dude who plays Ford...That new girl who is Hannah) Yet, they get rid of SC. What freaking dumbasses. The ratings are low already. I can really see this being the next soap to get canned if this pattern continues.

Hannah has only been in three episodes and hasn't had much to do. How can you make that assessment already? (Clue: you can't.)

Sure there is. Not only is the Cristian character about ten years past his expiration date, but David Fumero can't act. He is akin to Lurch from the Addam's Family.

David Fumero is a decent actor for what the role calls for. It's not like he's ever been given Erika Slezak-quality material. Plus, he's still smokin' hot. Plus, he and Jessica are still fondly remembered as a great couple.

Plus he's much more appealing than Antonio.

I like Cristian and Layla fine enough, but, for the most part, the Vega family is horrid. Cristian should have stayed dead.

Fumero's not any worse than JPL, TSJ, or ME, or Ford, or Brandon Buddy, among others. I think he worked well with Natalie, and with Layla.

Oh he does more than that....in fact, he runs a Youtube video blog under the name "TheoreticalBullshit" in which he talks about atheism and criticizes religion, primarily Christianity.

How long has this been going on? I know the main reason he's probably going is that he's a potential threat to the show's favorites, like Rex, and they have made Sky look so awful of late that a lot of fans are sick of him, but it's interesting that he was not only fired, but he's definitely not being asked back to GH, in spite of the claims they want to bring back the Quartermaine family.

Not sure how long he's been doing the blog. I've never watched it personally, but I know he has referenced it from time to time on his Twitter page.
