ABC is reacting to the news that ER is going to Y&R. I don't believe for a second that AMC was ever serious about having Bianca back full time. They won't write anything decent for her anyway so there is no point to this recast.

I was thinking that and think it would be hilarious if they went that route.

Dont be surpised though if the next Bianca is this chick. If they actually do recast, I think theres a strong possiblity Natalia takes over especially since AMC is now in LA. Im calling it right now. Expect to hear the role of Bianca Montgomery is now being played by Natalia Livingston in the near future.

Adrienne Leon is an awesome idea, actually. AL can work the bitchy Kane vibe, no problem. She would also make an edgier Bianca which would be a relief after the holier-than-thou Saint Binks we've been having.

It won't just be a Fronsie mandate. There might be a number of actresses out there who wouldn't mind having to rub their paws all over Vail. Maybe Tamara will come back after all!

I wonder if this go round they might cast more similarly to Alicia's Kendall by going with a girl who looks more like Susan. Wouldn't it be something if they totally tarted up the part with some hot sexy young thang? What an uproar. That whole Amanda Setton leaving OLTL for primetime ventures was a snowjob, she's the new Bianca. :P

I know ER is very popular, but I am not one to get behind that "such and such is irreplaceable" business. The problem is not a dearth of talented young actors, the problem is in casting directors and powers that be who consistently cast for all the wrong reasons and fail their audience by putting crap MWM (Models Who Memorize) in key roles.

Thinking that a popular, known actor is needed to make this recast a success in poor thinking. It's not about that for soap fans. They could find some theatre-trained virtually unknown who could wow us if just given the chance. Cherry picking from the CW is not going to win anyone over.

    • Martin and Smitty were designed to avoid the stereotype of gay men sleeping around (which to an extent is true). If you recall Martin had a line about them not being open when Chelsea came to talk to him. The producers are walking a very fine line right now and it might not be popular to say but I can understand it. Establishing enough footing to ward off complaints will let them showcase gay characters more openly later.
    • The week was decent. They have started to rotate their stories and finally got a rhythm going. I disagree about them allowing every character to have a moment to shine though. Nicole really hasn't been given anything to do. I completely agree with all this. I adore Doug and hope he makes it through.

    • There was the one appearance in '96, but otherwise, that's correct as far as I know.
    •   It's working fine now.

Question for the B&B group: I see @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded multiple seasons from Videoland  (in the folders that are to be put away). They are huge folders and difficult to download so I started breaking them down into months but I realized they are by season so for example, Season 4 spans from March 1990 to March 1991. Now I'm wondering where to actually place them, since we have the Full Episodes section divided by year, not seasons. And most of these seasons we already have in full, so these are duplicates. Not sure if it's necessary to keep the older versions. I could just make another new section for Seasons, so the main folders would be "Behind the Scenes and Interviews," "Clips," "Full Episodes," "Full Seasons," "Music CDs," and "photo archive Marquise" but I'm not sure that really makes sense. Also wondering since we have almost every full episode now if "Clips" can be deleted in its entirety, as it's nearly 300GB.
    • CBS moving Murder, She Wrote from Sunday to Thursday was straight up sabotage. Les Moonves knew exactly what he was doing.
    • I sure hope you’re right. The lack of sets is maddening!
    • I'm hoping that the new studio might have more space, meaning extra sets could be permanently erected. Perhaps the current  set issues are due to limited space available at Television City as it shuts down for the redevelopment. But if more space means spending more $$$ we might be stuck with the current situation no matter where they move.
