Casting spoiler!

With the recent casting news, more casting news has come that the show has finally cast the mother of Neil and Malcolm, Jemima Beulah Winters . Although she is heartfelt and loving family matriarch, she is also big, sassy, and quite outspoken. When she says jump both Neil and Malcolm will say "How high?" It was because of her selling her very successful pancake recipe that Neil got interested in business and taught Malcolm how to make good sandwiches. Expect to see Mrs. Winters to straighten out Neil and Malcolm while she lends her parenting wisdom as she acts as nanny to Reed, Summer, Fen, Faith, and Delia.

Now, it has been exclusively revealed to us that famed star of the 70's sitcom Good Times, Jimmie Walker, has been cast in the lucrative contract role. The character's name will be Leroy Jackson. Walker is best known for his role as JJ Evans on the sitcom Good Times, which ran from 1974-1979.

Of the casting, Head Writer and Executive Producer Maria Arena Bell says, "For a year now, viewers have been scratching their heads trying to figure out who Devon's real father is, and since we here at Y&R love to give the audience what they want, while keeping true to our history at the show, we have decided it's time to introduce the character onto the canvas. Mr. Walker is a superb dramatic actor who just POPPED during the audition process. Literally, we were all just in awe. Sometimes you just know when the right actor has been cast for the right role."

Sony has pics up now too. There are some different ones; I thought they were interesting. Glad to see a BLONDE MTS!

This blonde looks a ton better than the previous cheap version.

She wasn't bad at all as a brunette. But this is just another syndrome of people loving her new colour, then SUDDENLY hating it and loving something from deep past 9 again. :)
