considering they were announcing the men, Raven popping out was unlikely. I thought they were going to announce Orlando Brown from that show. I dont mind Massey but he does not look like he will be entertianing to watch at all. I think he may be the one that will need to go week one but for some reason will be sticking around for weeks before being voted off. We get one of those every year

You're right, but I was only hald paying attention. I was writing some things down and i had the volume turned low on the commercial of Bachelor Pad, so when I saw it came back I turned the volume back up and the first thing I heard was "That's So Raven", and I didn't realize until after that that they were on men only.

I guess that's what I get for half paying attention and multi tasking.

Here are the pairings

Brandy: Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Jennifer Grey: Derek Hough

Audrina Patridge: Tony Dovolani

The Situation: Karina Smirnoff

David Hasselhoff: Kym Johnson

Michael Bolton: Chelsie Hightower

Margaret Cho - Louis van Amstel

Rick Fox: Cheryl Burke

Florence Henderson: Corky Ballas

Kyle Massey: Lacey Schwimmer

Bristol Palin: Mark Balas

Kurt Warner: Anna Trebunskaya

Ugh! I love Fox and want to root for him but I really cant stand Cheryl Burke. I wish she would take a break from the show already.

Love Lacey but being paired with Kyle, she is sure to go early on. That looks like such an odd pair

They brought Corky back to be with Henderson. Im getting flashbacks of Cloris Leachman

Just looking at the list, I think the best pairings to watch will be Bristol/Mark, Situation/Karina, Audrina/Tony and Brandy/Maksim. I will depend on if they have any dance talent but these couples just look good together

Corky is repulsive. He was more interested in mugging and trying to ham than he was in actually partnering Cloris Leachman. She had to actually convince him to even let her dance and act and not just do stupid tricks. He degraded her.

He also has a lot of personal drama.

Brandy & Maks

Jennifer Grey & Derek

Audrina Patridge & Tony

David Hasselhoff & Kym

Kurt Warner & Anna

The above are the couples I'll probably be rooting for. I do think Bolton and Chelsie could be interesting. And although I can't stand Cheryl, I want Rick Fox to do well. This could be a great season. :)

Its alot more fair than Nicole from last season. I think Grey's age could work against her. Sure she has dance trainingbut does she still do it? I dont know about her recent career. I think at least she wont be a clear and cut win from the first episode like Nicole was

It can also work against her if she's still good, like it did for Sabrina Bryan. And Mýa should've won season 9, instead of Donny, as well as Mario Lopez in season 3. So even if seems obvious to us, the viewers may have a different take on it.

The thing with Jennifer Grey is that she's been having pain problems with ner neck. She was in a car accident several years ago, apparantly the ligaments in the back of her neck were ripped. So before the joined the show, she went to the doctor to do a routine health check, to see if she physically could do DWTS. The doctors words were "Right now, your spinal cord is compressed. If you fell or got rear-ended, you’d be paralyzed.” They also discovered a lump which turned out o be cancer... They removed it and she says she's feeling great now and wants to do the show before she gets to old.

    • When I was a kid, I would watch DOOL with my mom. I remember Denise as Susan so well. And later, of course, on GH. How sad to hear she has passed. RIP.
    • I have to dig that scene up on YT. I'm glad they gave them some kind of happy ending, even if it was really late. Interesting! I remember Justin and Sarah being involved, but I either forgot or never caught their backstory. The girl with money and social position of course turns out to be Jackie. He sort of did to Sarah what Vanessa did to his brother! I do remember Justin started out as not the greatest guy. Kind of a horn dog. It's only when Ross comes on that he becomes the "good" brother. I only have some vague memories of Ben and Hope, mostly of when they were in a positive relationship. He certainly changed over time. "Chill" would be the way I would describe Ben (along with "handsome but kind of a yawn") for most of his time on GL, so hearing he once had a violent temper is very surprising.
    • Yes. That's called good writing.
    • interesting idea.  That makes sense, as MVJ seems to have set up each character development (traits) for future plot developments.
    • I really enjoyed today's episode. It showcased a lot of the other cast and I saw hints of storyline potential (Smitty & Bill). Martin definitely has some anger issues and I recall him being overly scared about protecting his family and having all the doors locked, coming out of one of his "dreams". There's obviously a lot going on there and I can't wait to find out more. I'm thinking June is going to be more than just the issue story of the week. I think she just might be related to one or more of our main characters. As for Tomas, yes, Alex Alegria is not the strongest actor, but he's pretty to look at and he emotes something. I'm just not sure what that something is yet.
    • No. Absolutely No. I don't know who this is... since it's just some random Twitter quote... But NO. The only parallel between OG Caroline's leukemia and Liam's tumor... is that they are both having cancer. That's it. Other than that... I see absolutely no similarities.  Caroline hid her sickness almost till the last moment. She was also giving the viewers signs that she is not well for days if not weeks before the diagnosis. It was not like Liam... falling down and hitting his head on a table and bam he has a tumor. Caroline's storyline broke our hearts, because of her attempt to live out the rest of her days with dignity and grace. It was written slowly and with care. What we are seeing right now with Liam is the complete opposite. It's begging the viewers for empathy and cheap tears. It's so in your face and trashy... I can't believe they are using cancer for something like this. Bradley Bell should never do terminal stuff again in his stories. It's borderline offensive to people who actually have lost relatives to cancer. To me it is.
    • I was thinking that June could be Kat's mother and Eva is Nicole and Ted's.
    • You won't even miss her because Nola will be dominating the show till Raven comes back. Literally... there will be no boring second. Nola is just starting. You won't believe what will follow. Haha. And then as soon as that storyline is finishing up, Raven is back in top form.
