Stock/Waterman gave their UK entry a punchier chorus, and it is better, but really improving a crap song slightly, still leaves you with a crap song (the background production now sounds like something from Waterman's 90s group Steps, but with a less catchy chorus).

I expect a 20th-25th place for the UK this year. I don't see the European public voting for this song, maybe the juries will save it from finishing last with 0 points.

However, this year's contest is very unpredictable. There is no song that really stands out, and even the bookmarkers' favourites Azerbaijan, Denmark, Israel and Germany have had lackluster rehearsals.

Thanks for all your work in this thread, Huntress.

I read that the UK ratings for this were at an all time low. Germany got about 14 million, which must be good?

Apparently some guy crashed the stage when Spain were performing.

Yes, in Germany the contest was watched by 50 percent of all households. Last year only 6-7 million people tuned in.

At first I didn't notice that this person wasn't part of the Spanish choreography. At least Spain were allowed to perform their entry twice.

I'm very happy with the results although Russia and Georgia deserved lower places. France was fantastic and should have scored much higher.

The UK deserved its last place, but Belarus wasn't any better. Only the votes from Georgia who gave 12 points to Belarus saved Belarus from finishing last.

Uk was horrible, i liked Belarus a little better (song was boring, but the girls where beautiful)

I Thought Georgia was very good, a very good singer.

Russia, Ukraine, Bosnia, Spain, France, UK where truly horrible.

But im so happy about Romania finishing third, they where great!!!!!!!!!!!!!
