Well the hi-def looks good...

I'm surprised the sets look so similar to what they did in NY. Like others have mentioned before - it feels/looks more like GH now - and it seems like there is overall more room.... but the sets look identical. The hospital, Liza's apartment, Fusion, etc. I'm just a little suprised and slightly disappointed?

Anyway - loving the Greenlee/David stuff!

No new opening sad.gif

Random Krystal/Rob in accident? Why didn't we see that happen?

Frankie's head looks much shinier now in HD. haha

Frons won't give AMC a new opening....just look at the crappy one OLTL has and how many years it has been since GH's was updated.

That being said, I'm no regular AMC viewer, but I did catch the first few minutes of today's show just to see how it looked in HD, but was that an updated opening today?

how much does one have to pay for David to tell Marissa to "F-- Off!"

If I think you're wrong 98% of the time, then this is definitely the 2% where I couldn't agree with you more! Marissa was just a waste of time. I really, really did wish David said Fuck off!

I watched the credits, the things I noticed: The NY logo was gone, I didn't see Pratt's name in the credits for Consulting Producer, and I saw Hope Harmel Smith. There were a lot of other new names as well.

So HHS was there? The credits on my Canadian station started at Nadine Aronson and I thought it strange that there were no other producers before her. I guess they missed forgot to put in Smith.

You're right, Pratt was no longer listed as consulting producer. That hasn't even crossed my mind. If I recall correctly he started being listed as consulting producer about a week before he started being listed as headwriter, so he should be out of the writing credits soon.

The only other name I caught in time, because it was easy to remember, was Jim Jones as Art Director. I think he's from Passions.

Oh, and who did write the script? I didn't get home until 1:34.

Kahn.

So jealous of you guys that got to watch AMC in HD. I had to be at work today, but will definitely catch it online later. :D

The Martin's obsession of David is pathetic. It's embarrassing to watch.

I agree... and that gif is why I ADORE you!

James Kahn wrote today and Casey Childs directed.

Susan Lucci looked horrible in HD IMO. The make-up and lighting teams need to do a better job at hiding her wrinkles and the bags under her eyes

Ugh, those self-righteous, douche bag Martin brothers have been extra annoying lately. I wish someone would just beat the s.hit out of their smug asses.

No, it was not an updated opening. I must say, the opening looks ABSURD. I don't like looking up JR and Amanda's nostrils. Couldn't they have made the frame they were gonna use the top part of the existing footage or is that hard? No one has hair anymore! And the AMC logo was cut off on my standard TV upstairs. Like it legit said "All My Childre". Atrocious.

Haven't seen the actual show yet, but it looks good! :)

haha, we defnetly agree on this. Ive lost cont of how many times she's gone to him bitching about the same damn thing. Doesnt the twit ever get tired? I dont even get why David bothers to waste any oxygen on her

They did a good job of finding someone who looks like Timothy Adams to play Dr. Clayton today.

But they did a weirdest job finding the guy to play David's assistant. The went from "though guy" to "skinny grocery bagger." The actor that played the Fusion Parking Attendant would have been a far better choice... but eh, who cares - just something I noticed.

Oh okay....I just assumed when that it was once I saw Jill Larson at the end of the opening, since I knew she was back on contract. Show's you how much I watch AMC. LOL

And just wait until OLTL goes HD....it'll look like "One Life to". haha
