Members LeClerc
I'm not sure if I should name him/her or not, but I just read a mini-rant from a former ABC writer on Facebook where he/she essentially confirms that Frons gives the shows directives on which males to write for based on who his wife is hot for. Not really earth-shattering news; I think most people already suspected/knew this. But I still thought it was interesting to see a writer confirm it. Didn't Frons hire some guy from American Idol for a part on OLTL because his wife told him to?
Members Kubla Khan
I'll be naughty and identify the writer: Bettina Bradbury! And I'd call it more than a rant: it was a full on bitch attack!
Members Khan
If that's true, then his wife (in five states and the District of Columbia) has extremely bad taste.
Members Sylph
Well, this is just intriguing. First, how did this leak? Frons complained to some 'close' advisor, someone... about it 'in confidence'? But then it reached the writers and the whole planet knows about it? Second, what kind of a marriage is that when a wife goes to the husband and tells him: Hey, honey, I find [ X Y] haawt, I want you to order the writers to write for him. Members Khan
Probably, a marriage where the husband is in complete agreement. ;-)
Members Soapsuds
:ph34r:Probably, a husband that "gets" some if he does what he is told to do.

Members Khan
Okay. So you have to write for the guys Mrs. Frons thinks are "hot." Is that any excuse, though, for making them uniformly boring, or does she mandate that, too?

Members AllMyDaysatGH
I noticed Tracey Thomson's name on Thursday's episode of GH in the Script Writer slot. I think this is her first script since returning to the show?
Administrator Toups Posted June 18, 2010 Author Administrator Share Posted June 18, 2010 Thanks. It probably was her first ep back (I check the GH credits on the weekend).
